My wife wanted to get some stable, usable space on top of the washer/dryer. I looked at several products, but this was the exact measurement for the large, front loading units. It weighs a ton, so it won't be easily moved around. It looks great, and more than met the need. It's also very nicely finished. My only negative comment is the price (a bit high), but it was exactly what I was looking for, so I really can't complain. Edit 7/24/2025. It's been a while since getting this. I'm still very pleased with the quality of the countertop. My only negative was that the countertop tended to slide around a bit on top of the washer and dryer. I put some stick-on silicon feet on the bottom of the countertop--problem fixed! If I had known how slick this would be--and honestly, I should have--I would have invested a couple dollars in a package of silicon feet before I ever installed it.

We recently decided to upgrade our tiny laundry room. We looked at different options, just trying to get more storage space into a tiny room. We had hoped to run a countertop along the backside of the room, but realized it would just cut the room in half. When we found this easy to install counter on Amazon we were very excited and it’s exactly what we needed. We got a countertop without the hassle of building one. My washer and dryer are in my kitchen and being in an older house I didn’t have much countertop space. I bought this so I’d have a place to prep meals. This is the best thing ever! I highly recommend it. I stained it dark brown and put a clear coat over it. It looks very high end. Putting it together was easy too. So very pleased with this.

The board is great and very useful for sorting and holding clothes. I gave it four stars as the sideboards are not a tight fit to the bottom board. There are some short gaps.

Arrived cracked down the middle and when trying to add sides the pre drilled holes did not align… I did not want to pay the restocking fee so we are trying to make it work with wood glue and sanding.

i really wanted to like this but for some reason something is very uneven. Its like a seesaw on top of my washer and dryer, I had to put a towel underneath one side so it would stay put. I don’t know if the wood is bowed or what?
