This door is amazing. Very ridged and the LCD panel is great for programming. Our old door had push button programing and no display so it was a pain to program. The new door functions well in the ice and snow and the solar panel keeps the battery charged even in the Michigan winter with little sunlight. The only complaint I have is the solar panel mounting is limited. It has a screw hole to hang like a picture frame. And articulating mount would be much more functional to be able to mount the solar panel and point it toward the sun. I plan to use a speaker wall mount. Those articulate and are fairly inexpensive. This is a great door for the price. Everything functions as it should and it's easy to program. It's sturdy, relatively quiet and opens and closes smoothly. Our chickens were skeptical at first, but now they use it like it's always been there. The only thing I would change is the size.
