Like others have stated and I didn’t listen, all setting include fast blinking of the lights. This is probably fine for most people but if you get migraines or have sensory issues these might not work. I’ve turned the brightness down in the lights but they still flash intensely and will have to stay off at night. I’m really disappointed it I should have listened to other reviewers.

Used these lights to illuminate garlands around our dining room window. This was the first year I set up garlands around this window and both my husband and I agreed it needed something else. I put up the garland with thumb tacks, and I knew traditional lights would be too heavy to add, so I found these lights. I was excited for the different settings so I could decide on the perfect twinkle effect...but found all the settings to be completely overwhelming. There are seven twinkle options, and they all start out slow and quickly turn into a crazy rave strobe light effect that was uncomfortable for us. (Not to mention my husband has a sensitivity to flashing lights that can cause seizures.) There is no option to keep the twinkle effects on a slow setting, so we opted for the steady on option, which still looked beautiful but was a bummer. I did find myself struggling to keep these from tangling into an unmanageable mess but with some patience had them hung and taken down and stored eventually. Do recommend unless you want a specific twinkle setting.

The media could not be loaded. Pros: Cheap Multiple modes Responsive remote Cons: It's a pain to untangle if you don't carefully open it out of the box. Conclusion : at this price, I'll buy it again if I ever need more.

I love these lights except for one problem. When they lose power they reset to running through all the lighting options (ie blinking, fading, etc). I wanted to use these with a smart plug and turn them off and on automatically but because of the resting "feature," I can't do that as I just want them in the "constantly on" mode (no blinking, fading, etc). If you use the remote to turn them on and off it remembers the setting, so that is what I am doing for now.
