This was a life saver! Our dog loves to sit on porch and relax and watch everyone, but he’s also a runner! So we installed this metal gate on our porch and it looks great and functions as described. It is super easy to put together and I didn’t have to use a drill! It is very sturdy! Our dog jumps on it and it doesn’t even move. It is not auto closing, you do have to make sure it clicks in. I really like these gates and have three so far and the fourth is on order. The company also has EXCELLENT customer service and answers questions quickly. My suggestions might seem obvious but here goes: When you need to move the gate (for carpet cleaning, etc.) install zip-ties in the same location as they came installed before unscrewing the pressure mounts. Also mark the location where the pressure mounts contact the wall if you want to put it back in the same location. I use blue painter's tape to mark walls since it is easy to remove without damage. The instructions say the closure needs a 2 mm gap. The small tool they provide to turn the pressure mount wheel is 2 mm thick and makes a good guage. I recommend keeping it nearby so you can readjust it if the gap widens over time. I have tried to take photos that might help. The last one shows use of the tool provided as a guage for the 2 mm gap.

Gates r nice n it’s hard to find gates that r tall enough for adults to just open n not bend over to do so , plus if u have small dogs for them not to go under making the gate worthless, thesss gates prevent all that , that being said the down side to watch for, I have. 4 lb yorkie who wanted to get to the other side of the gate so he pawed @ the. Ars very fast as dogs do when trying to get to some thing they want. But he must have misssd y pawing @ the gate n his head slipped throu n got stuck in between the bars, I believe if I had. Or found him he would have accidentally broke his neck, luckily it was where the gate opened n I was able to get him out without to much harm to him. Also company fast with order n returns n happy they r cuz out of 3 gates 2 missing parts . But they were to stable the gate from the bottom. But they also supply the middle support part n the 2 sides u can get away with not having. But they r nice gates n less expensive then many I seen that would not keep ur dog in or keep u from a headache every time u we T to open it.. hope this review helps.

I bought this specifically for my 1 year old puppy who would pee in the living room when we left the house. Adding this gate made it so she wasn't locked outside while we're gone, but didn't have full access to the house either. She could be inside and still have access to the doggy door to go outside to use the bathroom. I no longer have to worry about cleaning up pee in the living room or finding something chewed on because she got bored. She has tried to chew the gate, no success. The metal was a great choice. I installed using the pressure method since I'm a renter and didn't want the holes in the wall. I did read other reviews and purchased the wall nanny set. It has worked perfect. I love that the gate stays open at the 90° so it is open when we're home to give her access to the doggy door. We had some nieces over (4 and 6) and they couldn't figure out the handle, which was perfect because I didn't want the puppy out while they were here. It closes automatically once it's popped out of the 90° position, and it isn't loud. It opens both directions. Absolutely no complaints from me. Be sure to measure the distance and choose the right length. It works perfect.

I chose this gate because in the place we need it, we could only use pressure mounted. After doing some research this one had a pressure mount option. It was easy to install, is sturdy, and looks good. Less bulky than my old gate. I think we will get our money's worth out of it!

This baby/pet gate is total junk doesn’t stay in place. The gate actually came off and won’t stay in place. So when you open it the gate comes completely off it’s annoying. Bought this gate 6 months ago surely they last longer than this
