This is the second one of these I bought. My first one is on a Remington 700, and this one is going on an Armalite AR10. These bipods are light, easy to mount and stable for long shots.

Made in China of course. I was aware of this when ordering. It's basically a simple copy of the Caldwell or even the harris bipod. Harris is made in the USA and Caldwell in China. The bipod seems okay, no worse construction than other foreign built bipods as far as I can see. The carbon fiber construction of the legs also seems about par. But time will tell if it holds up or not. This is an inexpensive bipod for a very inexpensive .22 bolt rifle. I don't see the point in spending twice as much as the cost of a rifle on a bipod. However the rifle IS made in the USA. So there is that. I can recommend this item for use on inexpensive rifles. I'll spend the big money on my big money rifles. Admittedly I haven’t taken this item to the range yet, but i can say say that out of the box it seems solid and reasonably well built. Expect a couple of minutes head-scratching on how to attach the (included) rail adaptor, but after that little speed bump, operation is straightforward. The unit fits securely to a picatinny rail with no rattles. Legs are spring-loaded and extend (and retract) readily. It folds smoothly, an operation regulated by the dual black springs visible in the online pics. And then there’s the color: knock-your-eyes-out red in my case, every bit as bold out of the box as in the online pics. ... show more

I thought that this would be a cheap aluminum knock off, considering the price. However, when I received my bipod, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it truly was a carbon fiber product. It is lightweight, easily attached to my Ruger, GEN II rifle and has easily managed the recoil of .308 ammunition ... show more
