I was making a chair for my friend and needed to have counter sunk holes and plugs to cover the screws up. I ordered this set and was able to drill 42 holes and make 42 plugs in ash wood. I took it slow making the plugs because I wasn’t sure how it would go. To my surprise it made it through all of the cutting and made the perfect plugs for my project. I like that it has the variety of sizes so I can have options when making my projects.

Edit: company sent me out another set of these and I’ve been using them without any issue. Appreciate the great customer service. Maybe just a fluke the first time. Not the best, not the worse. Does the job but looking for more of a higher quality set for long term use. One of the bits broke off during use, and not in hard wood, in soft pine but maybe it was a fluke.

This is a real nice set. It has 5 different common size drill bits with countersink hub and you can control how deep the drill bit goes if you need to. It has 2 replacement drills bits in case you break one or two. It has two sizes of plug hole drills that is not easy to use, but maybe i need more practice. This is an essential tool for making stuff where you don't want to have the screw head sticking out
