I usually have 30+ bags of leaves and this thing really works. Fits perfectly in the big paper leaf bags and works better than using some other tool to stuff the leaves down. it also saves your back as it is much more efficient. It also save a lot of time. Combine it with a leaf chute and leaves are a lot easier to do. Strongly recommend.

I'm always looking for the fastest, most efficient, and cheapest way to bag my leaves. This tool helps by allowing me to efficiently pack more leaves into each bag. My rake handle is too narrow for the latch mechanism. I found the perfect alternative in the form of the bottom portion of a floor jack. It is the right size and has enough weight to allow the tool to do the packing by itself. One issue that I had with the tool is that it'll drag a bunch of leaves out with each stomp due to the shape. If they printed some material diagonally between the base and the shaft, it might help the leaves slide off when retracting from the bag.

I always have lots of leaves to rake and bag and it's always been a struggle for me to get them to pack down in the bag. I asked my husband to make something I could use to stomp them down but he was always busy doing other stuff. So I went searching for a leaf stomper. When I found this I was very excited and I bought it right away. I used an old broom handle at first, but it wasn't the right size to screw into the 'big foot' My husband had an extension handle for something and he tried that and it was a perfect fit. So now raking leaves is so much faster. I don't have to open as many bags since I can fit more in each one. It save time for me since I don't have to dive in to try to pack them down, and it definitely works better than a rake handle alone. I love my 'Big Orange Foot'. I highly recommend it!

Okay, this looks like a gimmick but it works great at compressing leaves in large plastic barrel for moving to a dumping area on my property. Being able to easily compress the leaves make for fewer trips. I found that it attaches to a wooden broom handle quite well. The orange color is a nice touch to help spot it on the ground among the leaves.

The first time I came across the ad for this product, I was skeptical. Another better mouse trap....whoopeee ! Ordered one and it works and now a happy member of my Autumn Leaf Cleanup tool force. Don't laugh at or about it...get one and see for yourself.

Firstly, EZ Lawn and Garden Leaf stomper is a pretty cool idea. It is an unique item and would make a great extra gift for the holidays or a birthday. You easily install it on a rake or other gardening tool's handle. I even had a spare handle with no rake, so I do not always have to deal with the big orange foot near my shoulder while raking. The stomper effectively helps compact leaves, which saves you space and bags! Some reviewers mentioned it's not great for plastic bags as you will go through the bag. This is indeed very possible. However, if the bag is large enough, I have still had some success using it. Sure, ideally, it will work much better in large paper bags. Secondly, it depends on the type of debris you are trying to compact with the stomper in terms of the effectiveness. Some leaves and lawn debris simply compact better than others. My leaves don't necessarily compact too much, but it's still useful. Overall, it's a very cool idea. I'm glad it is on the market, and I am glad I own it. I'm sure there are more uses for it too. I know some people have mentioned compacting other forms of trash. Neat item, sure it's not quite as effective as you would ideally want, but I would still recommend giving it a try!
