Like most people right now I am working from home and attending a lot of video conferences. Where I have my desk the lighting is not very good so I purchased this to use during those video conference calls. It works very well, having the ability to change the lighting temperatures and the dimming capability makes this lamp a great to use for video conference calls. Plus it runs off a USB connection which I have a connected to my docking station so no need for another outlet at my desk. The only real issue I have is the sturdiness of it, the arm is very flexible which is nice but if you need to position it in a certain way it will not hold.

UPDATED review Jan. 2021—The power switch is faulty and it will not stay on. Disappointed. ------ I just received the light about 20 minutes before a weekly video meeting. Easy to set up and what I love is that I'm not blinded by the light! You can connect via USB as well as with the included AC adapter. It has a variety of settings (warm, cool, neutral as well as brightness levels), it feels well made (not chintzy materials), the bendable arm is a good length and the clip is sturdy; I clipped it onto the shelving right over my monitor and it's holding in place. Phenomenal purchase for the money, and delivers exactly what I needed to get my face out of the shadows during conference calls/meetings.

Liked- 1. Very bright, exactly what I was looking for. 2. 3 light temperatures: bright, regular and warm. 3. It has different levels for the 3 different temperatures. 4. Very sturdy yet flexible. 5. The lamp is a perfect size, small but powerful. 6. Clamp is sturdy and tight. 7. You can hang it from anywhere that it can clamp to. 8. Comes with USB connect and it also comes with a port for outlet. 9. Great quality. Disliked- 1. The clamp was too long. Wish it was less long so I can clip it onto smaller spaces. 2. The cord is long but for my particular need. I needed it to be just a little longer. Overall, I really recommend this lamp. Perfect for pretty much anything. Fast delivery, arrived in two days during quarantine. AMAZING!

I can't speak to how sturdy it is, because I put mine in place (clamped to the back of my computer monitor) and left it once I'd positioned it to my liking. With its long gooseneck, it's extremely configurable and has so many levels of brightness and lighting color, I can't imagine anyone wouldn't be able to find a setting that works for them for every application. I initially bought it for video conferences, since the lighting in my office is all from behind me, which looks just awful on camera, but I now always turn it on, because it lights my monitor and keyboard so well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars overall is because, of the 3 I've purchased (one for myself, and two for end-users at my company), 2 had to be returned (one, because the on/off switch quit working and the other, because it stopped working in any USB port available to the user). HOWEVER, the company handled both fantastically, sending replacement lamps PRIOR to receiving the returns of the defective units, so I'd give EYOCEAN 10 stars if I could!

We loved this lamp until like another reviewer stated-after 7 months without warning, it simply stopped working. Light does not go on and we used this LED lamp VERY sparingly. In fact, it was once in a blue moon and during 4-5 months of Covid schooling-NOT at all. We started testing it out for this schoolyear just in July and no light! What a let-down. Poor product. UPDATE: After 4 months of consecutive use and about 3 months on no use, my lamp stopped lighting without warning so I contacted the Seller with a "Post your Q" option as there was no other way to return this. I tried to email Seller on their posted contact email: which ends in dot Outlook. ??? This is clearly not a valid email address. I tried it and of course got a bounce-back. I posted another Q and ask for Correct email and they again replied with the bad one. I posted again saying this is an INVALID email address. Crickets. So much for transparency. DO NOT BUY. WIll stop working and no way to contact Seller to follow up for remedy.

Wanted a front light so I could look fine in my videocalls since the natural lighting in this room comes exactly from the back so it actually makes the webcam look worse so I have to close the blinds. I already have a lot of things around my work area so I wanted a small lamp with good lighting and this one did not dissapointed. I just happen to have an angle of wood in my bookshelf that is perfect for it to be clipped. Like I said, the size is perfect for small spaces and the lighting levels are great, I actually have it in mid levels because it is so bright. Quality feels great, its sturdy and the flexible "gooseneck" is actually very stiff which means it won't easily bend with the time or weight which is a good thing. Great product overall.

My daughter has a small desk with limited space for writing. With the time change, it gets dark earlier and her laptop camera does not work well in low light. This little light has helped immensely for that. The light is nice and bright and does not emit too much heat. It's easy for her to maneuver where she needs it and it takes up minimal space on the edge of the desk.

I bought 2 of them and could never get them to turn on. They are made well but a bit difficult to open up the clamp to put them on a desk top or bed side table. I spent 2 sessions with the rep, who contacted me promptly but I still could not figure out what the problem was and sent them back.
