Okay, is this product perfect? No. Then why 5 stars? Let's start with the price. It's $20! The fact that you can even buy a sweeper for $20 is in itself amazing. If you're buying a sweeper for this price and expect it to perform like a $75 sweeper or a vacuum cleaner, then you will be disappointed. It's a sweeper, not a vacuum. There is no suction power and there isn't supposed to be. This reminds me of the sweepers I saw in the 60's and 70's at hotels. It's just like those only much smaller. But what it can pick up is absolutely amazing. I put it together and tried it real quick before I left the house for the day and the amount of hair it picked up was shocking. I have long blonde hair and it gets everywhere. I have to vacuum as much as anyone with pets! This thing picked up a huge amount if hair that my vacuum missed! I've read some reviews that complain about its short handle so I was prepared for that. But being a 5"3' gal, the handle was actually the perfect length for me. If you're tall you may want to look elsewhere or you'll be stooping to use it. I will be using this once a day to keep up with tracked in dirt and between this and my swiffer, I'll be able to walk barefoot. I had double ankle surgery and sometimes they do't cut the nerves quite right (they can't see them). This left me with very sensitive fee with the nerves reacting to ANY dirt or sand so my floors have to be completely free of any dirt or I'll have to wear slippers. I live in Arizona and it isn't practical to have shoes or slippers on every day. Besides, I just prefer barefoot walking. This works on area rugs but also on tile floors. This comes in several bright colors and the blue caught my eye. I love it! So cute and functional. It can just rest by any wall and it's ready for you when you need it. I would recommend emptying it after every use so as not to accidentally spill it. I had a battery operated sweeper for years and I loved it for floors. It did not work at all on carpets or rugs so I consider this an upgrade. When the batteries I had for my sweeper finally died and wouldn't hold on to a charge, I knew something had to change. I got so tired of having to charge batteries before every use. When you want to sweep the floor you don't want to wait 3 hours for a battery charge. Just get it already!

I'm really loving this sweeper! I have several rugs and the vacuum often sucks up part of the rug and then stops working. Not great. But with this sweeper I can easily go over any rug and pick up crumbs. It's so convenient. Emptying it is really easy too. I have a lot of weakness in my hands and I was still able to easily lift the lever to empty the bottom. no problem. Also it's super cute with the pretty mint color.

I love this little mini carpet sweeper! I have a thin kitchen rug that covers most of the space and can go in the washing machine, but because it’s so thin, my regular vacuum just sucks it up. I didn’t want to buy a plug-in stick vac—just something to quickly sweep up crumbs or small messes on the carpet—and this sweeper does the job perfectly. It’s too small for large rooms, but for the kitchen, a hallway, or a bathroom, it’s ideal. I did take off one star because the handle doesn’t lock in place; it just pushes on and feels loose. It would come off, but I fixed it with a bit of liquid gasket maker. Now it still turns slightly, but it stays put. Another great feature is how easy it is to empty—just pull up on the decorative lever on top, and it opens right up, dumping everything into the trash without you having to touch or shake anything. Plus, the retro look and mint green color are beautiful and look perfect in my kitchen. All in all, it’s a great little sweeper I’d definitely recommend.

I originally purchased the Eyliden Carpet Sweeper because I needed something simple and quiet for quick cleanups, especially in the evenings. This thing rocks! We bought a new vacuum and it was too strong for my large/very thin rugs, it would immediately suck them into the rollers. I didn’t want to have to buy a second vacuum and I love it for everywhere else in the house, so I thought I’d give this a try for my thin rugs (8x10 and 9x12). When I emptied it I was shocked to see how much dog hair it had picked up! It also picked up three kids crumbs and made nice lines on the rug like a vacuum would. I’m very happy and relieved to have found a simple solution.
