I should have sent it back but it is my fault for buying the cheapest one. It struggles to pick up anything. I ordered one from a different company. It only cost five dollars more than this one and it works great. You get what you pay for.

Original version worked well but the brushes wore out in two years ... picture on the web site looks just like the original but it's been cheapened. Unit is two - thirds the size of the original model and now has to be assembled - Pick another manual sweeper and skip this one.
