Description

The carpet rake and groomer is ideal for quick and easy carpet maintenance. By using a 'push pull' motion the rake releases trapped in dirt, pet hair and debris and pulls it to the surface so that the vacuum can remove it. By using a 'rake like' motion the carpet pile is revived with a 'like new' appearance. Also makes vacuum tracks disappear. It's three part handle can be disassembled for easy storage.

I have wedge wood blue carpets and a pure white long haired cat. He is currently losing much of his thick coat, all over my house! Much of it in clumps!!!! My 2 vacume cleaners constantly get clogged up. I have to frequently stop, cut out the fur stuck to the brush rollers as well. Keeping my house clean and neat looking has become a real problem!!! Well folks, this product is for you if you have similar pet issues!!! I just received my order, put it together, (sooo easy!!!) and started raking the carpet. Much to my surprise and delight, ALL of the fur clumps came up into the rake throughout my living room and hallway!!!! It was very easy to use too! I just raked over the areas as I would do with my vacume cleaner, however I pulled the rake toward me, not away from me. (Like you would do when raking your yard.) All the fur stayed within the rake combs until I removed it. Buy it!!! You will not be disappointed! Instead you will be pleasantly surprised! I also have back issues and when I vacume my lower back hurts, even if I stop to stretch and rest it for a few minutes when I am vacuming. We have a long haired dog, a border collie and we are going through vacuums every 2 years so I bought this to help try to keep the dog hair down. Just doing a small section in the hallway I was able to collect enough hair to make me gag. Easy to assemble and take apart. Material is still brittle, so if you need to do a thorough scraping, maybe look for another product. Overall it gets the job done of getting hair and making the carpet a little fluffy.

A light touch is key! I was really getting in there at first and it wasn't keeping the hair trapped in the teeth. Go gentle and it's a breeze! If you're OCD (like me) all of the neatly combed carpet will make your little neurotic heart sing.
