I just received this and I have assembled it with no problem, and it seems very well made and sturdy. But the instructions show that I am supposed to screw the wall mount that came with the vacuum onto the stand....but my wall mount that came with the v15 doesn't have any holes in it! I don't understand how so many people with a v15 gave this a good review...am I missing something?? UPDATE: I realized I was missing the backing plate to the wall-mount. I located it and now everything is set up and good to go! It's a great stand! ... show more

I thought I was too picky when searching for a way to organize and store my beloved V15. I got it at Costco on Black Friday and it came with many attachments. For about 3 months I just kept it out and left the attachments in the box. Once I saw this stand and read the review by another person who prefers things that are symmetrical rather than random, I put in my order. Love this thing - easy to put together by myself, very sturdy, small footprint, holds all the pieces I have and stands at the ready in my laundry room (and out of my dining room!). It's easy to lift off and put the vacuum on the charger and the cord goes behind the stand with a panel and clips to hide it away. So glad I found this one! ... show more

This thing is great! We never hung our Dyson. So we would have the pieces in a basket and the main piece draped on the dryer. It was a mess. Sturdy metal stand. Lousy instructions for attaching the base and the stop. Took me a while to decipher the poor image. More like a cave painting than clear instructions! Includes two 25mm long M5-0.8 machine screws to mount the Dyson charging station. They are too long! I had to go to Ace Hardware and purchase two 20mm long screws. The included ones bottomed out in the channel. If the channel had holes in the back there wouldn't have been a problem. With no place for the excess length to go they bottomed out against the channel in the back of the stand. Additionally, the stand includes only two plastic pieces which snap into the channel to hold the charging cord. It would be nice if there were three or two long pieces that cover more of the channel. ... show more

I absolutely love this docking station! We've had to move our Dyson V12 Detect Slim around the house a bit, and drilling and re-drilling holes in walls to hang it up and then patching up the old holes was getting tedious. This stand is sturdy, stable, and easy to put together with clear instructions. It neatly holds the vacuum and all its attachments. Equally important, it is PORTABLE; so the Dyson can be stored anywhere, no muss, no fuss. It's much easier to store the vacuum on this stand that it was to hang it up on the wall. (And a shout-out to the two reviewers who said it was symmetrical, which I also value for keeping things looking tidy!) ... show more

    • Older V6 attachments don't fit on attachment tree
This is a really great and sturdy unit and easy to assemble. I like that the vaccum foot is off the ground when placing on the stand. I had purchased another unit that wasn't tall enough and the foot would contact the base when trying to attach the vacuum to it and it wouldn't go down far enough to seat in the base and was annoying. My V6 attachments would not fit over the attachment tree stubs on the unit because they were wider than the V6 accessories vacuum attachments diameters, which are narrower than the V8 and up Dyson versions. I have the V10 also and the accessory attachments diameters are larger and fit on the stand well. ... show more
