Replaced an outdated and overused GTX 980. The 980 was still running current games "fine" but was being pushed to its limits and could tell it was being phased out from current new gaming titles. This RTX card is running everything i throw at it on the highest of settings doesn't matter the game. Silent no sound from fans. Doesn't get overwhelmed at all and even running games, browser open, discord, etc. load capacity is minimal plenty of room to be pushed to its limits still. Stays a steady and cool 50degrees Celsius even with gaming for extended periods of time like 8hr sessions. I do suggest buying a GPU sag support brace of some kind, the card is massive and may overtime pull on the board. Overall very happy with my purchase of the card and would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade from an older card or buying for a new build altogether. Just compare the benchmarks and the numbers wont lie, this card is a beast!

Got this for a dana4-sfx case. Old 1080 evga was kicking up entire ambient temps and causing heat issues. I run gaming in 3440x1440 and noticed since swapping out to this card temp is cooler with better performance, less noise than old evga super clocked acx. I think some other 2080 might get better performance, but im very happy with the card and needed the blower for sfx case. I put electrical tape over rgb strip on card since there was no way to turn it off with software. Notice the card struggles less and produces higher framerates in apex, quake champions, etc. Solid card. Pick one up my Dana4 friends ;-).

Upgrading from 1070 to this card. Generally get 50 -70 more Fps in most games that I've played and more constant at 144. The card runs around 60 to 70C full load. The one problem I've had is that the card is supposed to come with Anthem and Battlefield 5, I didn't receive either It may be because I bought 2, but one of them was for my son. I also purchased at 2 different times so I'm amiss as to why I didn't receive the games. So that's my only complaint

Doing a good job so far as of 12/30/18 I WILL change this review if something changes. The led light cant be changed, a little long, very cheap plastic feel on my fingers. Despite all this its giving me frames like no other! good job ASUS! Performance 1st luxury 2nd. Runs quite hot and loud, but at least runs at full boost speeds, unlike some cheaper blower types. 6 months later and it's broken! Asus isn't responding to 2 rma requests I've made, and neither to personal emails on requesting to return the card in warranty! Update: A service representative created an RMA, and after returning the card, blamed the fault to me (the caps started leaking, not customer induced damage), yet they stated I did the damage, and now will have to pay more on repairs, than the card is worth it. Mind you, I paid $750 for this card, paid an additional $50 shipping and RMA label, and now will have to pay another $750 on repairs! Let the news be out, that ASUS DOES NOT HONOR THEIR OWN FACTORY RETURN POLICY!!! Buy anything else BUT Asus for GPUS, or you WILL be disappointed!

I'm a big fan of blower GPUs for small form factor cases. Blower GPUs suck air in from the side and blow all the hot air out the back of the CPU. Normal GPUs blow all their hot exhaust into the interior of the case. That's fine in large cases with tons of fans to remove the heat, but in small form factor builds, a blower GPU like this one is essential to keep the rest of the PC cool. I put this into a Node 202 and it runs cool even at full tilt. Highly recommended!

for the first few days I had no issue with it, it did great playing games such as Diablo 3, heros of the storm, and destiny 2 , the issue started when I played Witcher 3 and world of Warcraft at max setting, 4 times in row wow crashed, Witcher 3 started to have screen tearing, when I lower the setting it goes fine but who would pay this much to play on the lowest setting, the only good part was it never go beyond 60 degrees. I end up returned it and getting the RTX 2080Ti hopefully nothing go wrong
