We have had two dogs, all but one golden retrievers, for the last 30 years. Even with regular brush outs, they shed. A lot. I wish I had this for the last 30 years. It’s great! In the past I would go room to hall to room to room, sweep up, carry to the trash for, then repeat. Now I just sweep it up to the machine, on auto-on mode, and it just sucks it up right away, then shuts off. It has some serious suction, too. It will suck up whatever is on the floor and any hair that is stuck on the broom. It may be a little loud for some people when it runs, but it does not bother me. The collection chamber pops ou easily and you can take it straight to the garbage can. Sucks up gutted dog toy guts, too. I’m very pleased with it. Can't say enough good things about this device. Just sweep all that pet hair over to it and it sucks it right up. Easy to empty the container when it's full and lets you know with a little light. It's a little loud and sometimes goes off and scares the dog if he walks to close to it but so worth it to have such a convenient way to cleanup the dog hair. We have a robot vacuum too that gets the center of the rooms but leaves hair around the edges. Now we can just sweep that hair into this thing and all done, so easy. ... show more

I looked at buying the EyeVet Pet Touchless Vacuum last year but thought it was too expensive. I do not like sweeping. Our house has six adults, five dogs, and one cat. We have to sweep daily. I have tried different products to make sweeping easier. Sweeping into a dustpan hurts my back and becomes a balancing act with all the pet hair. Now I sweep everything up to the touchless vacuum, and it sucks everything up for me. The suction is powerful. It will even suck the pet hair that is stuck to the broom. The only drawback is that I either have to move it from room to room or I need to buy one for each room. I recommend this product. ... show more

I have hard floors. I sweep and I carefully carry the dustpan full of hair to the trash. It is a fuss to drag out the vacuum so I call Eyevac a win!
