  • super easy set up, very high quality unit with clear instructions and training guide super easy set up, very high quality unit with clear instructions and training guide
Pattern Name: Max Size: 500 Ft
we got this to replace a junky chinese made and branded unit that broke within a week. this set up is perfect for our two dogs with 1/3 acre perimeter. all the components are very high quality, thoughtfully put together. it was a easy to set up, very accurate perimeter zone, comes with metal not plastic flags which makes staking them super easy. we are in the second week of training the dogs. the other system over shocked our dogs to a point where they were so scared to go anywhere. this system has a no correction tone only mode which makes training much happier for them. they seem content again and willing to roam. instructions are well printed and clear. the other company did not have any contact info on any of their material. Petsafe unit came also with twisted wire, splice kits, metal staples. the one I ordered is 14G wire which is hefty. the other one we got was very very thin and the transmitter was very hard to work with. this one is so much easier and works like its supposed to. very happy with this set up and product and highly recommend anyone considering invisible inground system to avoid all the other ones and just get this to save time, trouble and headache! i got the two dog kit which came with extra rechargeable collar. kit comes with two collar charger that charges both collars at the same time. please see pic. ... show more

  • Not what I had Hoped
Pattern Name: Max Size: 2000 Ft
So I bought this fence over 30 days ago (of course) and I had great hopes that it would be an effective system but so far this is what my experience has been. It took me several weeks just to install the fence because I was worried I was going to hook it up wrong. I currently have a single loop going even though I have enough wire to run a double… I GOT ENOGH WIRE FOR 4 ACRES thinking that when the dogs were ready for more freedom I could expand the fence out more… but we have yet to master staying in the back yard. I currently still have my wire above ground and stapled with very expensive landscaping staples… which I also wonder if the higher gauge staples I bought are affecting my parameter somehow. My dogs are smart… real smart. I have 5. A maltipoo (the best trained on this system so far), a shorkie (she is old and slow but has mastered the art of escape), a Golden Retriever (a doofus to be honest he will stay in the fence unless he is following one of the next two dogs), a German shepherd husky mix (he is a service dog but learned from his sister, our final dog, that he can charge the line), and the sister… the most stubborn of the pack… knows that if she flys like a rocket she doesn’t get shocked at all. So we called the company and they exchanged 2 of our active dog collars for stubborn dog collars… and I know it works because on leash we have let her “shock herself”… no Angel, don’t go any further Angel, beep-beep-yelp… ok she felt that!… then we focused on the flags, verbal reminders to stay in the yard, and leash walking (because if we don’t leash walk she goes to the neighbors and you have to trek through the wild blackberries to get over there… soon as we got her to know where the boundary was we gave it a try off leash… and boom she flew like a rocket to the neighbors house… back on leash we go. Then this morning our shorkie (she’s 10) realized she can cross the line and not get zapped… or she got zapped and I have it too low. Warning do not set small dogs on progressive 1-2-3… I did and almost traumatized my 2 little dogs… so now I have them on level low… and I know they feel it… I have grabbed the collar and tested it… I hear the beep… if I set it too high they are terrified and if I set it too low they are outside the yard… and the stubborn larger dogs are still running amuck… they look at the line… know where it is and just charge on through it… if they run fast enough they don’t get shocked at all… Now I have a $1200 fence and still have to leash walk my dogs… ... show more

  • Change collar from the get go! Change collar from the get go!
Pattern Name: Max Size: 2000 Ft
We love the system and its great for the dogs IF the collar doesn’t fail. I bought 6 collars and down to 4 in less than a month. $150 to replace EACH. The red straps (they provide) are weak and easily chewed. The offer replacement strap for $10. The flimsy plastic casing is easily damaged by teeth . (As shown in pic.) We bought blue steel buckle collars for $4 at Jeffers Pet and are switching them to that. I have medium dogs in the 40-50 lb range. A big dog would eat this collar for a snack. Trying to figure out how to make a stronger casing. I wish they had made them out of fiberglass or some sort of reinforced material instead of thin plastic. ... show more

  • Missing 1 collar
Pattern Name: Max Size: 2000 Ft
We don't want to be unfair as we haven't used it yet but it was annoying when the package arrived with just 4 collars and I purposely ordered it due to 5 stated and we also ordered 1 extra one separately for $189 bucks.

  • Love my dogs new freedom! They love it too!
Pattern Name: Max Size: 2000 Ft
Took my "5" dogs 3 weeks to get the hang of the fence. We fenced 4 acres ourselves. It was easy to install. We called when they were closed and they used caller ID to return our call and helped us out allot. Setting the collars was the only part we needed help with.
