  • Use in garage for silkie
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Chicken Coop #028
Use this for silkies inside. Keeps the babies away from the big. I think that it isn’t sturdy enough along the bottom or weigh enough to be on the ground outside. It would not keep large predators out without modifications.

  • large chicken house great for 5-8 chickens
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Chicken coop #049
Very happy with the chicken house. Overall easy to assemble, with some minor "interpretation" and adjustments required. Only required screwdriver, really, to put together. Large enough for our 8 chickens. Constructed well enough, however, over a couple months I had to reinforce the bottom of the door sill. If you have kids using it or folks who naturally slam things, you really need to reinforce the door area. Ditto for the perches--affixing them with screws was necessary to keep nearly grown chickens from knocking them down. I'd recommend the house, but be aware of some of the things you will need to do if you want it to last and function as needed. ... show more

  • Buy it!!!
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Chicken Coop #028
This is really worth the money! It took about 30 minutes to put together and looks exactly like the pictures. We have two ducks and it’s plenty of indoor and outdoor space. You could probably fit up to 4 chickens in this. It’s perfect for ducks since ours couldn’t climb ramps too well. All in all really worth the money and I think this will last us for years. ... show more

  • Good for what I have in mind, but....
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Chicken Coop #028
I got this because I have been taking care of a pigeon with a bad wing. He just isn't able to fly anymore, so I'll be taking care of him, and I needed something for a permanent home. I'll start with the bad, and work my way to the good. This will be used indoors, but I don't see it lasting much more than a year if kept outdoors. The wood is fairly soft and has a very thin layer of paint. I'm sure it would warp and start splitting around the screws if it was subjected to regular moisture. It is also not predator proof. The latches could be opened by a determined raccoon, and, more distressingly, if anything over 10lbs were to get on top of the mesh "roof" over the playpen area, I could see the mesh giving and way and whatever got up there falling in. Some clips and heavier duty mesh added on after assembly could help a lot. And lastly for the cons, it is VERY fumey out of the box. I'd assemble at least 48 hours ahead of using to let it air. On the plus side, it's quite large for a pigeon sized animal. The mesh is sufficient for keeping out rats, mice, and other small rodents, as well as small dogs. Assembly was easy, I'm not good at building things, but had no problem putting it together. So, it's a decent, nice sized habitat for anything up to pigeon or rabbit sized, so long as it's used indoors. ... show more

  • Less than a year and needs constant repairs and rebuilding…
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Chicken coop #049
Unfortunately, this is a costly chicken coop and not worth the price tag. There are large gaps at the drawers, doors, etc… the wind and cold air go right through. The nesting boxes are basically falling off at this point and need to be rebuilt. They were never actually separated as the dividers are so thin and flimsy and don’t stay suited in the slots. The outdoor decorative trim pieces have fallen off in multiple spots. The drawers do not stay intact at all. The metal bottoms have bent and completely disconnected from the frame. Every time we clean out the coop- which is weekly, the drawers need to be completely rebuilt. The wood is so cheap and brittle that it has basically crumbled as we try to fix it. Putting the coop together was easy- but the wood is so fragile it nearly breaks under its own weight. Don’t waste your money. ... show more

  • Love it!
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Chicken Coop #028
This was a great buy and super easy to put together! My broody chicken hatched two baby ducks and they seem to love it so far. I'm super glad we bought it and it arrived way earlier than expected! I'd definitely buy from this company agian🤗

  • Wanted to love it… don’t.
Color: Grey Pattern Name: Chicken Coop #028
I wanted to love this, it’s so cute! I originally was going to return this to find something bigger but decided to give it a go. Now I wish I had returned it. It is NOT weatherproof/for outdoor use. It was outside for less than 15 days before it started rusting in multiple places (most noticeably the side door latches and some screws, pictured), even though I covered it every time it rained to keep the ground inside dry for my critters. To me this is not acceptable for an item that is advertised as an outdoor item. The divider inside the hutch part is also already very warped, not sure how long it will stand up in there before I will have to remove it for my animal’s safety. As far as assembly, it was a breeze and I did it myself in about 45 minutes. It’s a great size and the multiple access points are so useful, it would probably be an excellent indoor enclosure as is, and an excellent outdoor enclosure if the hardware was better quality. The latch on the top fenced part is pretty flimsy and seems like it will probably break with frequent use. Also with this being said, IT IS NOT PREDATOR PROOF. It would probably keep out smaller things like snakes but a raccoon or coyote would open it right up. A few pieces were scuffed/scratched upon arrival but that didn’t really bother me because I was putting it outside and figured it would get odd dings here and there anyways. ... show more

  • So far very PLEASED. Will update after a few months of use.
I just received our rabbit hutch today. SO far I'm extremely happy with the hutch.. It seems like good material and seems pretty sturdy, SO FAR. Fairly easy to put together, I had it all put together within an hour (by myself) and I'm usually the type that can get frustrated easily when it comes to putting stuff together or hooking stuff up.. BUT, I had NO PROBLEMS. Now, even though it says it weather proof, I did go a step further and put a "clear" (kennel safe) sealer on it to further protect it as it will be outside. I will give an update after a few months of using it but so far I'm very happy with the product. ... show more
