The 55" x 40" size makes it easy for several chickens to perch comfortably. Installation was very simple — just a few quick steps and it was ready to use. It went up fairly easily but took 4 people 6 hours. The final page of instructions was in German so we struggled a little and ran out of chicken wire and had to buy some to finish the door. It seems sturdy and we are looking forward to moving our flock in.
