My aging Celestron power tank used to drive my night-time 'scopes was flagging. Too much extended use maybe, maybe casual maintenance, but all the same the old tank was now a puddle. Pros: LiFePo4 batts run until they collapse, providing juice well beyond the 50% lead-acid batts. This was a direct replacement size-wise, with a 30% boost in sustained amps. Make sure you measure the bay intending to receive this new batt. LiFePo4 batts provide up to 80% energy, but then they quit suddenly. LifePo4 batts charge rapidly, and far more often than their lead-acid counterparts. This batt is considerably LIGHTER in weight making it easier to cart around in the dark. Note: LiFePo4 batts require a compatible charger, I use this from Amazon: I have several of these Mroinge LifePo4/Lead acid 2A chargeing and love 'em as they work for nearly any batt: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MCTXFC7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Cons: They are pricey, but taken in the long haul are a better value for service and overall lifetime. So for my night-time astronomy habits that extend into the wee hours, this was a great upgrade.

This battery installed OK into a CyberPower 1500VA PCS Sinewave UPS. But when a small power blip occurred; all my lead acid UPS systems had no problem but the CyberPower 1500 shut off. I think this was because the UPS thought the battery was charged and even indicated with a 300W load that it had 32 minutes run time. But it was wrong. The load was shut off and the UPS shut itself off. I'm not disparaging either this battery or this UPS. Just, they don't work together most likely because an SLA charger will not charge this battery. Well I bought two of these for my son's 24 v ride on truck. One of them works just fine. Other one did not charge at all out of the box so I returned it and they sent me another one. It worked for exactly 11 charges. Now it won't charge at all. It's been over 3 months since I got it so I don't have the option to return it. I don't know what to do it looks like I lost $100 on this. I don't understand why one works like a champion other does not tho. It's quite frustrating. So if you wanna coin toss chance of getting a proper battery go right ahead.

I bought this for my small sailboat to power the depth sounder. I had tried another brand, same size, dimensions, weight, etc. from another vendor, and the other vendor's battery was DOA and could not be resuscitated. The other vendor assumed I had cross-wired the charger and sent me another charger. Problems not solved. Then they sent me a replacement battery under their 30-day warranty. Same problem, probably coming from the same faulty batch. So, I bought THIS battery and it works perfectly as expected.

Lightweight, compact, doing what it should so far. Bonding material on top of battery had linked up with the underside of the terminals preventing the blade connectors impossible to get on. Had to file this material away to fix. Otherwise, happy with the product.

I don't know yet about the longevity of this battery. The lead acid battery that it replaced had lasted for several years. This new battery is about a third of the weight of the old one. It was a direct replacement for the size/fit of the old one. It fit right in and the UPS went on line with no problems.

I purchase this battery with the full expectation that it was gonna be fairly cheaply made, and it is. But it works well for my application... I don't stress it out. So its rated for 5A charging and I only charge it at 2.5A, and its rated for 10A discharge and at most I might discharge it at 4A. So far its operated solidly, but I haven't had it for long. The BMS's low voltage and high voltage cut-off works properly. I dunno if there is a temperature sensor, but I don't use it in an environment where that would matter. -Matt

I purchased this in May of 2021. I use it with my Garmin Striker 4 Plus on my kayak. I have installed this into a pelican case and added a 2 USB port waterproof adapter. I have had no issues charging the battery. I can get at least 4 days of 12 hour fishing. I havent tried using it longer than that. Just recently I took it on a camping trip with 2 days of use on the kayak and charging my iphone each day.
