A specific review, but if you're looking for a less ridiculously priced 12V for a Prius this worked great. I'll update the review if it dies early, but it arrived at a healthy 12.7 V. This would NOT be an appropriate battery for most cars but specifically for cars like the Prius where the 12V does NOT need to cold crank the engine but only needs to boot the computers up, it works great. I kludged it and there are many ways you can get it to work but to share my terrible method I tucked the edge of some aluminum foil under the included bolts, tightened the bolts to hold the foil in place, wrapped the foil around until it snugly fit inside "SAE to Pencil Post (JIS) Battery Terminal Adapters", put electrical tape then duct tape around that contraption, and that fit the stock connectors in the car perfectly without any voltage degradation. And put a little cardboard underneath it to boost it up a few cm since it's shorter than the stock battery. Shouldn't be any risk of corrosion since it's in the trunk (the 9 year old battery it replaced didn't show corrosion). Happy MacGyvering.

These have been the best batteries I’ve found so far. I use my Pride Revo 2.0 scooter nearly every day for walking the dogs, plus whenever we go shopping, so it gets used A LOT. I usually go through a set about every 6 months (some don’t even make it that long)…but these Interstates lasted almost a year. Bringing them inside to charge during really cold stretches helps a lot too, no matter what batteries you have. Next set I buy will be Interstate.

This is the third 12v deep cycle battery I have bought from interstate on Amazon. I have used them before to electrify fence and twice I have had good battery life lasting about a year electrifying a fence, with a solar panel charger. After 2 weeks of using this, my third battery purchased, to electrify poultry netting, it quit working and wouldn’t take a charge so I contacted interstate they told me to call Amazon. Amazon then told me to email interstate, interstate then told me to call an extension that goes to voicemail and does not return your voicemail. So here I am writing a review. I would advise others to buy a battery through an interstate dealer and not Amazon. Interstate dealers will give you a year warranty on their batteries. Amazon gives you a good run around.

First off, the "one star" rating is not for the battery...it is for the seller (First Web Sales). I asked a simple question on manufacturing date on this battery and received a blunt (possibly computer generated) response. Unacceptable. I sent a picture to them of the battery's stamping asking for manufacturing date. From what I can see (and I don't know) the stamp says A2D3636F38 and 1WK1H. Did an online search (and Interstate Battery search) and did not come up with anything useful. As for the battery itself, came in fine, voltage out of the box was 13.1 volts. Ran it through a couple of discharges/charges and it performs very well. Amazon has been notified. UPDATE (April 5, 2018) - Interstate Batteries did reach out to me. Thanks. Rating is now 4-stars. I actually own three of these U-1 size 35 aH deep cycle AGM batteries. I use them in my backyard ammo can micro solar generators. I find them quite "stout" and charge up relatively fast. Refer to the stamping for correct bulk and float charging. I charge mine up to 14.5 and float at about 13.2 volts. MADE IN CHINA on the box and on the sticker. Not sure if they are a knock-off or something else. But, from what I can assert...they perform well.

Battery came with a 12.8v charge so was full which is a good start! It also came in 3 boxes with some paper wadding to keep it from moving so much? Why the low review for a battery that is obviously new and its terminals show eno signs of being connected to a charger or anything? Because the carry strap was completely broken off one side. I mean disconnected, I mean the plastic was inoperable. I'm normally Mr. Fix it and even I said 'nope' to fixing the strap... Luckily the battery was destined to replace the overpriced flooded battery in my 4th gen 2016 prius 2 with 90k miles on it here in South East Texas.. I used some dense foam padding on the side of battery case because this battery was about 3.5in too narrow on the wide/long place. The length is fine though. My car now is getting an additional 5-10mpg with identical driving as normal!
