EDIT: The ones with the black top work better than the ones with the grey top— they also last longer. ———————————— I’ve used these batteries for about 3 years now and haven’t had any issues whatsoever. My only complaint + reason I’m giving a 4 star review is because they take FOREVER to charge and the battery life doesn’t last long after using it for a while. Otherwise, it’s a good product. I’ve included a picture of the batteries and the item I used them with :)

A perfect replacement for my old alkaline batteries. I use these batteries inside of TV remotes, game controllers, and a multi meter and they work great! Although more expensive than a normal alkaline, these can be recharged hundreds of times and even last longer too. I've recharged a few of these batteries 10+ times and they're still working like new. It is significantly more economical to purchase a few rechargeable than it is to keep purchasing alkaline batteries over and over. The one con is that these batteries are a bit larger than a typical alkaline AAA battery. This made them a bit of a snug fit in some compartments, but I was always able to get them to fit. Additionally, they hold steady at 1.2V rather than starting at a higher power level (usually 1.5V or 1.7V) and slowly going down like alkalines do. This isn't a huge deal since devices designed to take AAA batteries should run just fine off of 1.2V, but be aware that poorly designed electronics might not be powered at 1.2V, even though they really should.

Worked great for solar lights, led flashlights, and remotes. Charged and held a charge well, and they never leaked. Unlike some rechargeable batteries, these fit everything I put them in -slid right in and made good connection. The lower mAh didn't matter for remotes and such, but could be for things with a high power demand. Sadly, mine disappeared! AMAZON BASICS is printed large, but rechargeable is not. I think they were slowly fed into the recycle bin as they were mistaken for regular Amazon batteries with new packaging. I wanted to see how long they'd last because I never manage to get any (even super expensive ones) to work well after 2 to 4 years of cycled use.

Order just arrived so I have no idea how they perform yet, but I will tell you you'll need to charge them when they arrive. Granted this is typical of most rechargeables, seeing how yes they charge them in the beginning but rechargeables never hold their battery life nearly as long as the companies claim they will, I've never experienced a brand that doesn't lose at least 10 percent battery per week sitting. Again this is common with all brands so I can't point the blame at Amazon. That being said, only 3 stars because they changed their manufacturers, so the batteries are no longer made in Japan and are now made in China (the worst country to buy anything made from, especially batteries) but what can I really expect, Amazon is cheap and of course they prefer a cheap product over a quality product. Anyway, I will update this post in the future after experiencing the power and drainage
