The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice instrument! Not only does it look neat, but it sounds pretty good too considering its size. I'm a sucker for nicely made wooden objects and so I love the interesting octagon shape and the nicely softened edges and corners. It comes in a well made little padded gig-bag. It has strap buttons attached and includes an ok little strap. I wish the strap had a gecko or dragon design on it. The strap works GREAT for wearing and playing the cajon on the body. This is a small cajon compared to others, but it is equipped with a pickup so you can plug it into an amplifier or PA system to provide plenty of volume. I have not yet played it plugged in but I'll update this review if I have anything to share after using it amplified. The pickup is interesting. The volume knob is hidden inside. You press the button and the knob comes out and you turn it to set the volume. It's a really nice way to protect the knob which could get bumped or damaged. A basic instrument cable is provided, but when I use it plugged in, I will probably use it with a guitar wireless pack to really make it fun to play and move around. I think this is a great addition to the percussionists palette of sounds.

I am really digging this octagonal cajon from GECKO! It has a great sound, and it's wearable, allowing me to use other percussion instruments in concert with the cajon. It looks great also. The wood is polished to a beautiful shine. I'm proud to display and use this in my music room or at a show!

I like this, I really do, but though its amazingly well made, I just don't like the sound. It may be just me, and its my first drum like this. There's a foam piece inside along the snare that they said helps its sound. To me, it sounds dull and unmusical. I'm a bassist, not a drummer, so perhaps I'm just unaware of how it should sound. It has phenomenal construction, beautiful dragon paint job and a nice fabric soft shell case. I put the strap on, but had to place some foam inside so the strap did not scratch it up, otherwise I would have had to take it off every time I use it and that's not happening. I thought maybe the internal foam was to b removed, for sound, but I can't get my hand in there, so I assume its supposed to be there. The wood is high quality, and the finish is smooth and pleasant.Its super portable as well, the case is good.

I really like this portable cajon. The dragon & phoenix design and rich dark tones look really beautiful. The sound is very good with snares on the top side to give it some snap. You can turn it over if you want a more mellow sound.

Everything you need to have a convenient, easily carried cajon with you. It looks nice, and feels well-made. Seems like a good price for a hand cajon. Large enough to make a decent amount of sound, but not big enough to feel bulky.

Seriously impressed by the quality. I have wanted a wearable hand drum for the longest time and the design was PERFECT. I adore the dragon and Phoenix motif. East to loop and play immediately. The box came with a carrying case and it fits/protects it well. Sound is rather rich for such a small drum. Can't wait to keep using it.

I love this thing! My first impression when I opened the box is that this was done by someone who cared about quality craftsmanship in a musical instrument. It's absolutely beautiful, with the intricate dragon motif on the front. It also sounds as good as it looks. It's resonant and has full-bodied tone. I've been enjoying just playing around with it as a snare percussion instrument, and I'm looking forward to recording with it. It's the kind of thing I'm sure I will take with me on camping trips as well as just lazy days at the beach. If you're on the fence about this, take my word for it. You won't regret it.
