Iâve bought this pack FIVE times alreadyâtheyâre my go-to AA batteries. I get them for myself and gift them to other ppl. Theyâre not rechargeable, but they last a long time, especially in low-drain devices like remotes, doorknobs and kidsâ toys. They're not the strongest, but I've never said they're weak. I've had devices live 3+ years thanks to these. The value for the price is excellent... you get a ton of batteries that hold up well. One small thing: they come in a crinkly plastic wrap, so either open it carefully or make sure youâve got a container to store them in. Overall, reliable, long-lasting, and cost-effective. âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Title: These Batteries Resurrected My Tamagotchi and May Have Opened a Wormhole Listen. I donât usually write reviews unless a product physically alters my existenceâand friends, these batteries did just that. I bought this 48-pack of Amazon Basics AA batteries because I was tired of remotes dying, clocks pausing time like a dramatic soap opera, and my haunted Furby whispering in ancient tongues before going dark. The plan was simple: buy batteries, power stuff. But oh no⌠these batteries had plans of their own. The moment I popped two into my old Walkman, I heard music from the future. Not like, futuristic musicâliteral transmissions from 2089. There was synth, yes, but also warnings about âthe banana uprisingâ and something called âQuantum IKEA.â My toaster lit up. My plants stood upright in salute. The Roomba began moving with purpose and a disturbing sense of self-awareness. I inserted four more into a flashlightâit beamed a ray so bright, it illuminated a memory Iâd suppressed from 1997. I cried. It was cathartic. Then came the real test: my childhood Game Boy. I hadnât touched it in 20 years. I loaded in four of these alkalized lightning capsules and BOOMâscreen lit up like the 4th of July, Pikachu winked, and the Game Boy started playing itself. I am now ranked #17 in the world for PokĂŠmon Red, and I havenât pressed a single button. I now carry a few of these batteries in my pocket like some kind of low-budget wizard. My neighborâs car wouldnât start. I tossed him two of these and said, âTry believing.â It started, AND it had more horsepower. It also now speaks fluent Spanish.
