I have a bit of an unorthodox setup for my laundry room sink. I use the cold side with a hose splitter. One goes to the sink directly, and one goes to this hose. I was able to attach a sprayer to it, and I can also connect it to another hose using quick disconnects so I can send water to my brew kettle (I make beer in the basement). I didn't need a really big hose and this one fit the bill. It's well constructed and it threaded easily to the connections. Overall, I'm very happy with this hose and highly recommend it if you need a smaller hose for a similar application. ... show more

So I don’t know what happened to traditional hoses but over the past decade they have been going down the drain. They are all just getting brittle and cracking like crazy so we are switching to these metal types to hopefully get away from that. - The hose feels very sturdy. - It is also light weight. An older one we had was also silicone but had green cloth that was funny enough heavier than this one. - I'm hoping with the stainless steel it won't rust - It does not tangle or get pinched like a regular hose. Even if it is just thrown in a pile (thanks kids) it untangles super easily. - It also does not get caught like the cloth one did on things. - It was handy that it came with a couple extra washers as they do tend to wear out. - The way the thick “handle” ends screw on is really nice. It not only makes it much easier holding, they prevent added wear that usually occurs at the joint. . This is holding up really well so far and great for little situations. ... show more

Bought the to replace my existing leader hose for my front yard hose reel splinkler system. The stainless steel hose lawn hose is light and flexible. Installation is simple and easy and leak proof. It is also easy to coil and uncoil. I recommend it.

This product fits my needs for a short length of hose to connect to a "Y" outlet at an outside faucet. This hose is surprisingly light and appears to be well constructed. The hose will definitely not kink and cut off water flow, which is a problem, especially with plastic hoses. At each end of the hose are brass connections that look to be of high quality and easily screw on to a faucet or connect to another hose. There are not burrs or issues with these connectors. The plastic covers at each end are good protection for the point where the hose mates up to the end connections. They also make it easy to grab the hose. I did note that there were no additional washers in the package, as mentioned in the product description, but I don't consider that a major issue. I like this design and will definitely use it. All material use and workmanship are excellent with this stainless steel short (3 ft.) hose. I have a light weight, stretchable, expanding hose, it inflates when water's turned on and deflates when water's off. It saves space and light weight and easy to handle but if I keep pulling it hard at the faucet connector, it will leak and burst soon (this is the third one I bought). I install this tough stainless steel hose between the faucet and the expandable hose to extend the length a little bit and to help my other hose last longer. This is the perfect hose to attach to my laundry room sink. I needed something to allow me to wash items in my sink with ease. My current faucet has a threaded spout that you can attach a hose to, so this 3ft hose is perfect. It’s light-weight and connects to the faucet with ease. It's a good quality hose but the length is slightly less than the stated 3 feet. Beyond that the strain relief even reduces the effective length to about 2 feet. With the length considerations aside, this is a good durable lead hose.
