We saw this and ordered it the beginning of December after our gardening was finished. I used it in order to be able to review it. The black rubber-like hose came in a small circumference coil (7 or 8 inches). It came with standard sized metal fittings and included a metal lever controlled ball valve to control water flow from the nozzle end. Also included were a pair of extra washers, an elasticized band, a multi-function nozzle, and a simple hanger. The instructions were thorough regarding the hose itself, but provided nothing about the use or care of the nozzle and didn't even mention the hanger, band, or washers. While setting up the hose for its first use, several loops appeared despite my trying to deploy the hose in a straight line. Other hoses would have kinked severely, but these loops pulled right out with a gentle tug on the nozzle end. The nozzle worked well in all positions (e.g., jet, cone, horizontal, vertical, mist, etc.) except "soaker." In that position, all I got was a high-volume dribble straight down. When I shut off the water spigot, I knew that the hose would still be under pressure, so I used the nozzle-end shut-off valve to save myself from a good soaking as I took off the nozzle. Opening the valve then allowed depressurization and draining of the hose. One final note, it was in the low forties when I tested the hose, and the tap water was similarly cold. Most other hoses would have been very stiff, almost brittle under these conditions, but this hose was just as pliable as it was indoors at 70F. Overall, I was impressed with the hose and satisfied with the nozzle. It will serve us well. It is much better quality than other hoses that expand/retract with water pressure changes.

I picked this up for small tasks that don't require the 75-foot hose. This is a perfect size for hosing off the driveway, rinsing the pollen off the cars, watering some of the plants, etc. It was a pain to drag out the 75-footer every time I had to do a 3-minute job. This shorter hose will come in handy. It comes in a small, lightweight box and includes the hose, extra washers, a hose rack for the wall, and a pistol grip nozzle. It also has a shut-off valve on the nozzle end, allowing you to turn the water off without sprinting back to the wall shut-off valve. That extra attention to detail is appreciated. I'm especially appreciative of the size and weight. The older hoses were just a bear to lug around. This is a featherweight comparatively. It connected quickly to the outlet, and the hose filled nicely with no water leakage. I used it for several small tasks, then shut it down and drained it. As we're coming into the winter months, even here in the south, I won't have much chance to use it until next March and April. I'm sure I'll give it a much better workout then, but right now, I'm very pleased with it. My recommendation - a decent buy.

I was so tired of fighting with my old hose and tripping over it in my walkway, because I was the only one who ever wrestled it back into place after using it. I thought an expandable hose might be much better and easier to use. When I first saw this hose, I was unsure how this small, light coil of what looked and felt like black licorice could possibly water my garden. But I hung the included plastic hose hanger on the hose bib, connected the hose to the bib, installed the included plastic sprayer nozzle, and gave it a shot. It's super cool! It's fun to watch the hose expand to full size. There are no leaks at either end. The sprayer nozzle has 10 useful settings. The hose is lightweight and easy to pull through the yard. It hasn't kinked! And because it's light, it doesn't drag tons of my wood chips and gravel around with it, like my old unwieldy hose. (It does catch some of them, but nothing like the other one.) So far, I'm impressed. As always, durability is yet to be determined. The metal connectors seem sturdy. The hanger and sprayer are both plastic, which doesn't always last long outdoors, and I know nothing about the "anti-aging nano material" used in the hose. My location is pretty sheltered and is away from the sun, so that's probably good. I will report back if there are any issues.

This garden hose by Quisky-Home appears to be almost identical to another garden hose I reviewed a month ago by a company named JCHORNOR. It advertises the same three-layer anti-burst construction and seems to have the identical connection fittings as well as spray handle. After one month the JCHONOR is now leaking at the faucet end. That hose however tended to cross-thread, so maybe leaking is related to the threading problem. This hose by Quisky-Home screwed onto the faucet smoothly and did not catch at all. So far it is not leaking. The outside of the hose has a tacky feel since it has no nylon mesh jacket. It is priced $6 more than the equivalent hose by JCHONOR. As with any of these hoses, the real test will be next summer when temperatures sore.
