This is my first expandable hose, and so far, I like it. The outer casing has a nice feel to it. When you pressurize the hose with water, it will expand, and sorta look like a snake moving around. When you open the water, the hose will slightly contract, and the elasticity of the hose, will actually give you more pressure for a few moments. This also makes the hose contract slightly, but I tested this at the hose's longest length, and it was not a problem. I would like to think that this hose can handle pressure for extended periods of time, but I'm not allowing it to sit under pressure when not in use. The hand sprayer is nice. It's not the highest quality, but also not the lowest, and it works very well for me. I used the jet nozzle, to help encourage some ants nesting in my yard to find a new home. So far, I like this hose, and as I get more experience with it, I'll update this review, if I have any discoveries to add. I think this hose would be good for most normal things involving a human, but I do suspect this may not be the best hose, for use in an automated system. In other words, if you have an sprinkler on a timer, for example, this may not be the best hose, since it moves around as pressure is applied or removed from it, possibly causing your sprinkler (or whatever) to move in an unexpected manner.

This hose is great! I will probably end up getting a couple more. It is super long, but does not get tangled and weighs almost nothing. After use, it coils itself back down to its stored size and takes up almost no space compared to a traditional hose half the length of this one. It seems to be pretty durable and has held up well for the few months I have had it.

Fits in a pot on the deck. Reaches all the corners. Nozzle seems ok quality. Turn off valves are an added bonus. I’m ordering another.

Absolutely in love with this hose! It is much lighter than a traditional rubber or plastic hose. When full of water, it expands to 100 feet. Because it is soft, it's a lot easier to move around corners and doesn't damage plants. The brass fittings are nice and snug, no leaking from my 30 year old spigot. The sprayer attachment has 10 different settings. I am partial the mist and shower settings for my veggies. Easy to rotate the head to your desired setting. Once you are done, empty all the water out of the hose and it will retract back to its original size. Then it's very easy to wrap up and hang on a hose stand. Awesome item!!

I've gone through a few expandable water hoses in my backyard. Inevitably, either one of my dogs chews through it, a hose will burst because there's too much pressure, or there will be a surprise frost overnight. I like the concept, but they always fail me after a year or two. I decided to try this one and I think it's going to work out better. So far, it has worked well. The hose expands by about 30% instead of the usual 50-75% when filling with water. I think this will help it last longer due to not going through that much of a physical change when using it. The hose has a reinforced exterior made of a plastic fabric while the inside of more a rubber hose that allows for expansion. The brass fittings feel solid. It was easy enough to attach to my outer faucet. There's a valve on the end where the spray nozzle attaches. I like this concept so that you can always shut it down whether you're using a nozzle or not. The package includes a storage bag for the winter and three extra gaskets for the brass ends. So far, this has been great. The extended length is 100ft, it's about 65ft when not filled with water. I still think I would prefer this over the other 100ft expandable hoses that take up less space than a soccer ball when they aren't filled with water. That means this hose takes up more space, but I think it will be sturdier. My only complaint is the plastic spray nozzle. It feels overly plastic, and I have no doubt it will break by the end of the summer.
