I had bought the 100 foot one not to long ago and it started separating where it screws into the spigot, leaking badly. I really like the convenience of these hoses so I thought I'd try the smaller one and hope. so far so good but i'm not trusting it or expecting much. I guess time will tell but if they work, they're great. Lightweight super easy to handle. I really want them to work, so far this 25' one is doing great, hope it stays that way. ... show more

I’m impressed with this hose and all it features. First, the hose itself is heftier than other expansion hoses I have gotten in the past. This one seems like it will hold up longer than others. The ends of this hose are brass and very solid and well made. I love the shut off valve that comes as part of the end of this hose. The claim of 25 feet is a bit optimistic as you can probably only stretch this 20 feet while using under normal circumstances. The hose fills up as expected and collapses when the water pressure is off. It does not tangle and there are no leaks anywhere. The “10 Function Nozzle Sprayer” is better than most of the ones you see in the big box stores. I’d probably say that only a few of these settings are useful, and the rest are for show/sales. The sprayer feels solid and feels good in your hand. It has a quality feel spraying mechanism that works without any leaks. Overall, I’m very impressed with the function and quality. This is by far the best expansion hose I’ve had. And with the shut-off valve, it has the most useful features. ... show more

LOVE this hose!!! It works just as described – it seems smaller than it actually is, but when you turn the water on the hose expands and gets longer. Once the water is off, as the remaining water is drained the hose shrinks again and becomes smaller. It’s a fabric-like material so very user-friendly, doesn’t get you dirty when you’re using it like a rubber hose would. Perfect if you’re using it in a smaller space, since it doesn't take up much room. But the part I love the most is how lightweight it is and therefore very easy to use, easy to maneuver, doesn’t get tangled or kink, a pleasure to use! The connectors are very good quality, heavy duty brass, so they seem like will last. The only thing that is questionable is the nozzle. It does have the different settings which are common to this type of nozzle, that’s good, however it is plastic and seems like it won’t last very long. That’s not a deal breaker for me, the hose itself is great, I am very happy with it! Definitely recommend. ... show more

I am very pleased with the quality of this hose. The outer material is made of a thick, cloth-like material and provides adequate protection to the inner hose. The fittings are made of a quality brass material. I am particularly pleased with the inclusion of an shut off valve at the point of the end of the hose where the water flows out. This makes it easy to stop the flow of the water when at a distance to the faucet. The hose expands to its full length when water is flowing through and returns to the shorter state when emptied of water. It is both lightweight and easy to store. I really enjoy expandable hoses to quickly get out and water planters and hanging baskets around the yard. Most expandable hoses I have seen are in the 20 or 50 foot variety so the 25' version is nice, the extra 5 feet do make a difference. The hose itself maybe does not recoil or return to as tight or small of a hose as some other expandable hoses but it also feels like the hose itself may be of a thicker material and might be more durable. The connections are brass and have a nice rubber collar between the brass and fabric material of the hose which should help longevity. It also comes with a few extra rubber washers which is a nice touch. It loses a star from me because these hoses in general restrict the flow rate from the spigot. It is usually not an issue but this hose cannot provide enough flow rate to use on a 2.5gpm residential power washer which causes it to sputter and lose pressure. It also is likely not powerful enough to wash a car with enough power. So it does have limitations due to the restrictive flow rate but it is a high quality expandable hose. ... show more
