  • Very pleased
Size: 28-Inch Checked Color: Rose Gold
We bought three of these in the purple (looks gray-blue not purple. Very pretty), the pink (looks either beige-pink or rose gold. Also very pretty), and charcoal (looks steel/pewter). We bought the largest size. They have been great! They have been through two flights now. Zero scuffs or dents. Very sturdy and durable. Lots of room on the inside with enclosed zipper protection on both sides keeping everything from falling out when you open the suitcase. The enforced corner protection is part of that I believe. The handle on the top and side make it easier to lift when it’s heavy with packing. Rolls amazing over all surfaces, bumps, doorways ect. The pink one was my daughters who is 5’1” and she was able to handle it easily. I have ordered matching carry-ons after vacation because I was so impressed with them. I researched all types before landing on these and am very pleased with them. ... show more

  • Amazing for the cost!
Size: 2-Piece Set (20" & 28") Color: Naval
I am starting this off at 2 stars as I’m a bit skeptical about the durability. I like my dads and it felt durable so I ordered me one but this feels so cheaply made and fragile compared to his. The outside bows and flexes so easily on mine but his was solid so maybe I got a knock off? The carry on holds a good amount but a backpack with additional clothes is a must in my opinion. The telescopic handle wobbles and feels like it’ll break easily. There’s no lock so buying a little one would be smart. I love the shape and design but again the protection of the luggage is iffy in my opinion! Will update after my flight! Edit: I was super skeptical at first but it survived my trip with lots of turbulence!!! This is definitely the semi-budget-friendly but quality travel case for you! Also, they come with the company's lifetime warranty ... show more

  • LOVE this dandy little carry-on: here's what it actually holds as well as its real pro's n con's after 8 trips...
Size: 20-Inch Carry On Color: Charcoal
Okay, first of all, I'm a middle-aged lady who travels alone, mostly on flights to see my grandkids and sometimes for academic conventions or the like. I purchased the case about a year ago and had suspicions about "Kenneth Cole" and "suitcase" in the same sentence. I mean, I think of suitcases, and I think Samsonite or names like that--not Kenneth Cole! I guess you could say, I was suspicious about how well this item could actually perform in real life! The review you are about to read was inspired by my most recent trip (July 2015) from Northern California to Portland and back via plane, taxi, light transit, and car. I actually made a note of these items as I unpacked my suitcase: 5 tank tops 2 t-shirts 2 lightweight knit cardigans 3 pair yoga pants 2 bras and 4 under wear 1 pair shorts Bathing suit Sheath dress 2 pair socks Sneakers Flannel jammie pants Crop jeans Knit skirt Makeup/toiletries bag (trifold but stuffed full!) Barrel brush, mini hair dryer, curling iron 2 magazines, 2 bags of candy, and 2 stuffed toys THE PRO'S *Lightweight, even when packed full *Fits easily in overhead bin (it is the newest "officially acceptable" size for the airlines) *Wheelies spin easily & are not cumbersome in airport/plane aisles (I travel mostly in commuter planes with skinny aisles & teensy o/h bins) *Easy to put in out of trunk of car or take on Portland light rail *Small enough to store in the back corner of my closet until next time THE CON'S *The handle, when fully extended, feels quite wobbly and rickety (in fact, I predict this is the first thing that will eventually fail) *The zipper doesn't seem very high quality--but so far so good--again, I'm surprised it has not failed yet) *While I have taken it on 8 flights (all using carry-on), I'm not sure how well this case would hold up if regularly checked through and tossed into baggage carousels by careless/busy/over-worked baggage handlers *No external pockets --it's a solid body all the way around. So if u are used to stuffing magazines or boarding passes or the like into pockets, you'll miss them! OVERALL I've been really pleased with this little case. It holds about a week's variety of clothing and supplies and has been a joy to use! I'm quite fond of my little traveling partner. If you get this bag at a good sales price and take moderately good care of it, you should be satisfied with your purchase--I know I am! ... show more

  • Great little bag with a decent "big" inside. Protects well and can fit a suit.
Size: 20-Inch Carry On Color: Charcoal
My old luggage was falling apart so I decided to go with a hard case this time around. This is a pretty good item. It is large enough to put a good amount of clothing in, but small enough for carry on (which is essential in my book - I never check baggage if I don't have to). I've taken it on one trip so far, 6 planes total. I will say that if you are getting on a smaller plane, they will make you check the bag as it won't fit in the overhead. So having it "boarding checked" four times (and tossed around as a result), and placed in overhead twice, I can say this bag is pretty decent. It seems to hold up well, but only time will tell. I have a hunch that some of the other bags of similar design may be better (Samsonite for example) in the long run, but this bag was roughly $70 after taxes so fits my need to budget ratio pretty well. That being said though, I expect the cause of this bag dying to be the zipper tearing and separating, so I took a good look at the bag in that respect. The build quality seems decent and that it won't happen for a while. The hard sides are not that hard. Of course they are a hard plastic of some kind, but you can push on the sides and dent it in. Not that is stays that way, it pops right back out (think like your car bumper). It is definitely sufficient protection and I am happy with it, but I expected sturdier material. It is most likely to keep the overall weight light. Just some info for those not in the know like I was. The wheels are awesome. Pulling the bag through the zig zag security line was a breeze. I will never buy luggage without the 360 wheels again. Others have commented on how much you can put in the bag. I am sure they are right. I was on a short trip so didn't need much to test it all out, but it looks like I can cram a ton of clothing in there. If you are talking casual wear, you can probably pack enough clothes for over a week easily. What I packed were a couple days of semi casual clothes, and a suit. Now for me, the hitch in picking my luggage is I wanted to be able to transport a suit easily. Garment bags are nice, but tend to be big. I saw a couple carry on versions here on Amazon but I just wasn't sure. Honestly, I took a gamble when I picked this one. So, I packed my suit by turning the jacket inside out, then folding it and placing the folded slacks in the middle of the folded jacket (so it doesn't compress the jacket as much to help prevent creases/wrinkles). It worked pretty well. I still had some creases but nothing the steam from the hotel shower couldn't take out. So it can be done. Is it the best thing? I don't know. I like that how I put the suit in the case is how the suit stays since the case is hard and won't move the suit at all in transit. However it doesn't "hang" like a garment bag would, so I am not sure what is better. So the answer is not clear to me, but this is a workable solution and I am not sorry I went with it. The only negative I would say is, I don't think you can get loads of clothing in the suitcase or you will get more/deeper creases. But I think that sort of makes sense since a garment bag wouldn't fit that much either. Again, I am happy with this bag. I would recommend it to others and buy it again in a heartbeat. If you travel a lot and have the money to invest into something better, you may want to look into comparisons more, but this bag is definitely good bang for the buck. ... show more
