I didn’t realize which hose I would get when I ordered this but I’m not dissatisfied with the hose. It empties quickly when I turn the water off which is a nice feature. It also came with a nozzle which works well and a hose hanger. I don’t know about durability at this point as I’ve used it only a few times.

This hose has a rubber-like exterior that expands significantly when filled with water. Initially, it looks much shorter than 40ft, but once water flows through, it stretches to its full length, which is quite impressive! It's lightweight and easy to clean compared to traditional PVC hoses, making it convenient to handle. However, it's not designed for high-pressure systems like my well pump (110 psi). It's best suited for city water pressure under 60 PSI. Also, be careful not to kink or block the hose, as the softer interior can cause it to bulge and potentially burst. Remember to turn off the faucet immediately after use to allow the hose to retract and avoid any damage. Overall, I'm very happy with its performance and highly recommend it for its lightweight design and ease of use.

This isn’t a bad hose by any means, however I think I was expecting it to expand a lot more than it does now, and I felt like when it contracts it should be smaller, but there isn’t that much change in the size.

I am surprisingly satisfied with the Expandable Garden Hose,Water Hose 50ft,Leak-Proof Outdoor Hose with 10 Function Nozzle,retractable garden hose with 40 Layers of Innovative Nano Rubber(50ft). I didn't think it would last, but it survived the first summer just fine. This hose doesn't actually retract- it shrinks. It's normally a smaller, shorter hose, but when you fill it with water it swells and expands up to 50 feet in length. I was just sure it would burst or split after a few uses. It didn't. It's so nice to have lighter hoses, especially when you get to be my age. Normal garden hoses are just too cumbersome, too heavy, and I'd be glad to replace all of them with these lighter, expanding hoses.

Purchase on 9/5. Returned 9/15. Developed multiple holes in a very short period of time . There were no elements or usage issues that I believe that would have caused this type of damage ? I’ve never experienced this sort of issue before now ? Not sure what happened?

This hose seemed like a great package but my hose had bubble/blister/balloon after using for less than 30 minutes. I really liked all of the accessories but the hose itself was not good quality. I had to toss it in the garbage. The same day.
