Husband had a fairly new desk chair, wasn't a cheapie either, but he was never comfortable in it, always shifting around in it. Started complaining about his back hurting. I am so glad that I found this COLAMY office chair on Amazon. I read so many good reviews about it, and ordered it as a surprise for my husband. It is VERY STURDY, and it was pretty easy to put it together. His back aches stopped right away, he says it is super comfortable, and the high back of it is great! He uses it at his desk while at his computer, and the way he can adjust the arm rests and easily move them out of the way, it is good for his guitar playing too! The price was really, really good for the quality and look of this chair. Really, really great purchase!

This chair was great from a construction as well as fit and finish. The wheel system was remarkable for mobility, and it was easy to raise, lower and make tension adjustments for the seat. The leatherette material (it might even have been leather - I couldn't tell) was well done and superbly stitched. The padding for the seat and the back was at least 2 inches, however I could never feel comfortable in that seat. Perhaps it's my body mass or bone structure but I'm under the 300 pounds the posting indicated it would accommodate. There were other reviews which indicated they experienced all day comfort so I'm leaning towards my long-term experience using LazyBoy office chairs which are extremely comfortable. Customer service was great and I was afforded easy and free return shipping. I wish I could have felt comfortable in that chair. It was an incredible bargain too boot.

This chair was a breeze to assemble using the allen-wrench with handle that’s included! The wheels are well constructed and roll smoother than the typical caster wheels from previous office chairs I’ve purchased. The arms can be lifted up out of the way which is helpful in tight spaces. The chair backing is padded and has a nice headrest that is not awkward to use. The cushion is wide and well padded for extra comfort.

The good: Arrived quickly, was easy to put together, and the materials are good for this price point. The available adjustments work well, but more adjustments are needed like lumbar. The cushioning is decent, but would not want to sit in this chair for more than an hour at a time without a break. While the flip up armrests can come in handy for storage, it does weaken the arms so that you get some bend when you use the arms to get out of the chair. The not so good: You can't adjust the tilt angle of the seat bottom which means the angle between the seat bottom and seat back is fixed. For me, the angle is too upright. If I could adjust the seat bottom tilt, I could add angle to make it far more comfortable. The other big issue is the front of the seat bottom is pretty flat unlike many executive chairs that have a front seat bottom that slopes downward. Being flat, it puts a lot of pressure underneath your thighs and almost cuts off your circulation. After about an hour of sitting, I have to get up for a while cuz I start to hurt. If it were easier to return, I probably would. Additional: There were many very positive reviews for this chair when I purchased it, and a big reason why I did. Now there are very few review almost like this is a new product. What happened? Product change, page reset? Very odd, and wondering if I really got the chair I ordered.

I'm 5'9" and 187lbs and at it's lowest setting, my feet just fit flat on the floor...and I have fairly long legs. Leaning back isn't super easy either on it's softest setting as I'm not heavy enough. That said, I'm happy with the chair, looks great, is comfortable and was easy to assemble.

Fairly comfortable and I like the wheels. It's an ergonomic chair, so it tends to make you feel like you're leaning forward if you're not use to that sort of thing. Overall, I'm happy with it.
