No issues at all with this chair. I love how the arm rests fold up, to slide the chair under a desk,etc. Chair is comfortable, I am able to sit for extended periods of time. You should stretch often regardless, it is not good to sit all the time. The lumbar support system, folds out with no issue and retracts back down, when pulled all the way up. Cool little design. Don't be afraid to buy a memory foam cushion or lumbar back pillow if needed, to go along with this. I almost missed out on this chair due to issues with FedEx. I was going to return it, before even recieving it but Customer Service was wonderful. Not sure who helped me but they deserve a raise.

When I went shopping for an office chair, I was looking for a chair with lower back support and a good warranty. Price was not necessarily an issue for me. I checked reviews on several office chairs and some had great benefits but a $300 + price tag is not always a great thing. I have spent more on items that do not last as long as those of the cheaper persuasion. Yes, they may work better but "You get what you pay for" does not always work. I am 65 years old and I was able to put together this chair in 15-25 minutes. Very easy. And I have to say, it's comfortable. I love the support from the padding under the legs and on the lower back. Raises and lowers easily. Excellent build quality. Customer service is also bar none. Believe it or not, you get a user manual that is not in several languages; English only.

I've been through some chairs both here at home and at work. I've only had this chair a few days, but it's the most comfortable office type chair I've ever used. The lumbar support is grand (and very necessary at my age). And the seat is soft, but not so much that I can't get up when I need to. I love that it doesn't recline so far that I'm in danger of falling over backwards. I'll likely be ordering another when I get my home office set up.

Office chairs can sell for thousands. Anything under $100 is likely junky. I haven't done real research, but I'm going to guess most desk jockeys in the US spend their time in chairs that range between $50 and $150. For $189, I expect something decent, and that is why I ordered this chair, and I will rate it for being in that price point--in other words I won't compare it to $400 chairs. An office chair should be comfortable, look nice, and be will built. Typically you spend a lot of time in an office chair, so it must be comfortable. You want it to be a good looking piece of furniture. And because they get used and abused sometimes for hours a day, they should be built well. For its price point, this is one of the better chairs I've sat in for comfort. But comfort is so individual that it wouldn't be fair to simply say this is comfortable or uncomfortable. It's a bit too firm for me and I've sat in plenty of chairs I personally liked more, but it is NOT uncomfortable either. I know people who swear by mesh chairs and who would love this one. If you like mesh chairs, you know most of them feel about the same. This one is typical in my opinion. The seat does have a firm cushion under the front section of mesh, just under the legs behind the knees. This helps with the typically uncomfortable transition from mesh to plastic frame. I like that. The three-way adjustable headrest aids in finding a comfortable spot. It's mesh also. The back does have a lower back support curve that is pronounced and will work very well for some and not for others. I find the lowest setting on the armrests just a tad high, but not too atypical. I like that they can left entirely out of the way. The padding on the armrests is a very firm rubber/foam/something--it isn't going to split or crack or lose its cushion effect, but there isn't much of it. My elbows are not on plastic, but they certainly aren't on memory foam either. As to looks, the chair is mesh and plastic and that describes what it looks like. The gray and black color combo gives some contrast, and the mostly plastic build is of much better quality than most--no ugly mold-seams or joints, and it is nicely textured. It's a pretty nice looking chair overall that projects well-made. In this price point, this chair excels in the quality of the build. It assembled about like any chair in its class, but snapped, screwed, and fit together solidly and convincingly. I knew as I was putting it together that it will last. It has a very sturdy feel as I get in and out and roll around. No wobbles or squeaks, and the recline adjustment is better than most I've used and results in a smooth movement back and forward. The lift lever works as you'd expect but also solidly and smoothly--hard to say if this is average or better than most. The only part that seemed a surprisingly cheap compared to the rest of the chair is the up and down on the head rest. Both the backward and forward adjustment and the swivel adjustment are sturdy enough, but the up and down is a looser ratchet affair that I'd want to set and leave alone because it seems like if it gets adjusted too many times, it may not work so well anymore. But overall, the headrest is well designed and allows way more adjustment than I would have expected. As I said, I won't compare this to a $400 chair--it isn't one. But at its price point, if this is the look you want, and the mesh is what you like, I'm willing to bet you'll like this chair.

Many levels of adjustment are possible with this chair. Pretty easy to assemble and it only took about 20ish minutes to do so. What I wish with this chair is that it would have been more comfortable to sit in. The way that the netting is that you sit on, it's not very forgiving. It's quite "hard" compared to other types of chairs like this. The headrest is adjustable to an extent, but it easily moved if you push your head down on it too much... The armrest I wish had more flexibility in terms of adjustment. They do not stick out far enough so if you have long arms only half of your arm is going to be supported. Recline feature is nice and is more comfortable in the recline state. Price seems very high to me considering the comfort/lack of adjustments in certain areas. There's also an option to get other wheels but I wish they would have already come with the wheels instead of the cheaper plastic ones... Overall, this is an OK chair. But there are more comfortable ones out there...
