This is the second one of these I've bought this month. I used the first one 3 times in the first week. It worked great and still had a full charge after 3 times used. I bought another one so I can have one in each of my vehicles. It is small and light weight, but it packs a lot of power. It had no trouble starting a pickup and a SUV. It is much easier to use than jumper cables and you don't need a second vehicle.

I've always wanted one of these but had been hesitant since my (diesel) pickup requires two batteries to get the engine started. I'm too chicken to disconnect one or both batteries to test this, I just replaced both batteries a couple months ago and they're expensive. I'd be shocked if little batteries like this could start the big diesel, but that's what they claim to be able to do. Barring having another dead battery, this is to be used by me as a portable battery and jump starter for other people so I don't need to carry jumper cables. This is a small enough battery it can be kept in the glove box. From my other batteries for other purposes I believe I should use the battery every couple months and keep charged to around 70% if stored a long time, so it'll last longer.

We had this just for the work delivery truck and the workers and delivery guys are always leaving on the lights or something in the car when they get back from the trips. Regardless - after a few times of them asking to use my car to jump the delivery truck - they were happy to get this from me - to borrow - I still am keeping it. We picked this up as we thought it would be good when we're traveling, as we both previously had cars that refused to work at one point or another in our lives. We were also tired of having to connect our cars to jumpstart the others and we weren't always available to do so. Well, whether through good luck or bad luck, an opportunity arose to use this device when we accidentally left the lights on in one of our cars for several days, killing the battery. Perfect time to test this out and sure enough, as soon as we connected everything, it jumped the car and it was up and running as if nothing had happened. I'm knocking off a star because it comes with relatively short cables and clamps that are rather thick, making it inconvenient for narrow areas where the negative is. This is an issue we dealt with, as the Kia Niro we drive has no in-your-face place to put the negative clamp. Meaning I had to put the device in a rather awkward position to get it to start. This is both a Kia Niro issue as well as a product issue, so I'm sharing the blame here. Overall, we're glad to have it, but for the price, I wish it came with longer cables and slimmer clamps.

I got the EXCECAR Jump Starter Battery Pack to put in my daughters car and I am glad I did! It is very small and portable with plenty of power to jump start most vehicles (I tested it on my Jeep with a 3.5L V6 and even my F350 with a V10 and it jump started both vehicles). My daughter had to use it when she was out in the desert with some friends and ran her battery dead listening to the radio (she is a teenager and still has a lot to learn but I did the same thing when I was her age). Not only is it small enough to put in the glove compartment but it also comes with a bright LED light built in which came in handy as it was nighttime when she needed to use it. I plan on getting a couple more for our other vehicles and to give as gifts to some family members. As we had to use it as intended and it worked perfectly, I can recommend the EXCECAR Jump Starter Battery Pack!

Getting into your car, starting it up, only to come face-to-face with a dead battery is never fun. Having to get an extension cord, find a power source, and connect a battery charger can be a hassle. And you're not always in a situation where you can use another vehicle to jump-start. This cuts a lot of the stress out of an already stressful situation. It's portable, has a built-in flashlight, and connects really easily for a quick jump for your battery. I do wish the jumper cables were slightly longer, but it works completely fine the way it is, and will definitely be a helpful addition to my car accessories!
