Leavs becomes much smaller and easier to pack after running them through the shredder. I also save part of the shredded leaves for compost. The smaller pieces mix into the pile better. I have also used some as a light cover around a few garden beds. The machine is easy to move to the part of the yard I am cleaning, and feeding dry leaves through it goes smoothly. The noise is acceptable when running.

Just got this unit and assembly was quick and easy. Started using it immediately and found that the shredder adjustment really doesn’t do much as far as controlling the size and I just leave it open. So far it works as I expected for what it is. I have a gas shredder/chipper also and this unit is a good addition when I don’t want to haul that unit out just to mulch a pile of leaves and garden waste.
