This is a great charging solution for electric cars. Most EV car manufacturers do not include mobile or home charging equipment. This level 2 charger is not only a good value but is very easy and straightforward to use. It has the Nema-14-50 plug and will plug directly into your outlet and with having the J1772 charing plug, it is universal with for all electric cars, it does require an adapter to use with my Tesla Model Y. I like the plug holder that mounts easily on the wall and allows you to wind up the cord when not in use. Changing the amperage output is also very simple with a push of a button it can be changed from 8amps up to 32amps. At Maximum amps of 32, my Tesla Model Y charges at almost 30 miles of range per hour, which is plenty to charge my car overnight. This also has a nice carrying bag to take the charger with you on road trips and to keep in your car. The bright and easy to read display is a nice feature. This ev charger is sturdy, well made and is of good quality. 32 amps is quite quick and delivers about 7 kwh. It features adjustable current which is phenomenal. The storage bag is good and it has a socket + hook for mounting. When going camping, having a 32 Amps charging from a 14-50 outlet in a campground will make this charger invaluable. Because of its adjustable current, it should work with a dryer outlet 10-30. That is important when you go to AirBNB house or friends house you can charge ev overnight easily. It works as well as my Tesla charger. The new Teslas do not come with a charging cable and this one is longer and charged at the same rate as my Tesla charger (from my last Tesla) in a 110 volt outlet for less then half the price. I haven't had the opportunity to test it in a 220 outlet.

Great value for 32 amp charger! I love that it’s portable… We go camping a lot and this opens up the option for us to bring our EV on the closer trips when we’re taking two cars. Cable is solid without being too heavy and the display is easy to read. The only thing that I would say that is not great is the carrying case is too small to easily and quickly pull the charger in and out. It holds or but it takes some finagling to get it in there. I have a Tesla, so all it took was the J1772 adapter and I was charging!!! Nice speed, easy to use and love the portability with the bag.

We use a good portable charger, with an 18A 220 outlet, in the driveway for our plug-in hybrid car. I ordered this charger to throw in the car when we’re traveling, and as an inexpensive backup. This is nice enough that it is likely replace the other one as our primary charger. The basics are all there, with a nice J1772 handle that fits the car perfectly. Setting the amperage is simple and intuitive; you just tap a button before you plug it into the car. In our case I have it on a twenty amp circuit, so I can use the whole sixteen amps at home. When I travel, I usually dial back to 10A or less just to be safe. It gives us the ability to delay the charging start time by up to 12 hours. This is handy, because we get better electric rates before 3:00 PM and after 7:00 PM. This means than rather than trying to remember to go back out later to plug the car in, you can just tap the timer button a few times to delay the start of charging until the rates go down. When I ordered this I did not notice that it comes with a nice holster for the charger unit, and a holder for the handle that will also hold the coiled cable, as long as you roll it with large loops. I will begin the review by pointing out I have only used it with 110 volt. I have not tried it on 220 volt. The charger arrived packaged well and included a carrying case. I am using it to charge a plug-in hybrid. In particular, a Volvo T8 Recharge. It is working out great. I chose 13 AMP for charging because I knew the Volvo genuine charger does 12 AMP on 110V. The only other close option was 10 AMP, which might be more appropriate if you are not certain of your home's wiring. 13 AMP is working out well for me, but you would not want to go over that on 110V or it will throw a breaker. Furthermore, you should check with an electrician before using 13 AMP on 110V. 10 AMP might be more appropriate for your home. The Volvo has approximately 41 miles of electric only range. That is taking me about 13 hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent. Some days that is my entire driving distance, which means I'm saving a good amount on gas. This is a nice charger.
