We are really glad we bought this adapter right before our Thanksgiving trip to see our friends and families, Their house already has a Tesla wall charger installed so we don't have to find the EV charger elsewhere. The adapter is very easy to use, pretty much just plug and play, I plugged it into the Tesla cord, waited 30 seconds, and plugged it into our EV Bolt, and it worked perfectly. We also got to try it on one of my friend's Hyundai Ioniq 6 and it worked great on it too. I can't believe that some people are giving this one star because it won't work on Superchargers when it has been repeatedly mentioned in the description. The J-1772 connector is only capable of levels 1 and 2 charging. No J-1772 adapter will ever work with Superchargers or any other DC fast charger... if you going to drive electric, you really should have a basic understanding of types of charging. ... show more

Was happy to have this when I stayed at a hotel which only had tesla level 2 charging stations in the parking lot. Had stayed in New York where there were not too many charging stations in the area. This was great to have this when you unexpectedly don’t have any power left and you only see nearby tesla stations. ... show more

    • It did not work with my Audi at the Tesla chargers
I have a 2023 Audi Etron and I was so excited when this units came out , claiming that it works with CCS vehicles. Upon arrival I immediately went to a Tesla charging station and tried the unit out. Sadly, it did not work after several attempts. The message displayed is the the Tesla charger could not communicate with the vehicle. I ended up returning the unit. ... show more

Used to charge a 2022 Mach-e using Tesla chargers. I have not noted a slow in expected charge speed for that station. I like the looks of it, the gray carbon fiber matches really well with the dark gray color of my car. Comes packaged in a padded box.

    • For the price a great product
Great charger and the construction is very durable but you have to pay attention to the housing. Heat protection and very easy to install. It comes with a small storage bag that comes in handy but it is a tad bit flimsy. Great buy for the price.
