My bedroom size around [14ft by 16ft] is the hottest room in the house, and very uncomfortable. also I have 2inch blinds and black out curtains to keep out the suns heat. I usually have two fans going at the same time. I tried a few tests with this product and came to this conclusion. It is not a air conditioner by any means. It did not drop the temp in the bedroom at all. I placed it in the door way to blow in the hallway air which runs at least 5 degrees cooler for some reason. I kept the two fans running as well plus added super cold water, the ice pack ( which doesn't stay frozen for long) and ice cubes. After 3 days of trying different methods the product will only keep the room the same as the house as long as I keep adding ice water and ice pack. which is about every 3-4 hours. It does help circulate the air but I don't feel it's worth the price I paid for it. I could have gotten a small A/C window unit for this price and been comfortable. ... show more

It doesn't cool the air as much as I had hoped, but it does make a difference, and the sound and feel of the air are pleasant. It comes with two small bottles to fill with water and freeze, to put in the tank. These little blue bottles have granules in them. Do not dump those out. They dissolve in water and turn into a gel that keeps the ice frozen. ... show more

Right out of the box, this product is very easy to assemble. All you need is a philips head screw driver to screw on the base. It works just like any other evap cooler by circulating cold water and blowing out the cold air with a fan. I recommend this product if you are tight on space since it's taller and skinnier unlike other evap coolers with a larger base. You can see in the photo it fits tightly in the corner of my bedroom. The only drawback being that evap coolers tends to not work well in humid climates like Florida or Hawaii. This shouldn't be a problem of you're from Northern California like me. ... show more

This was very easy to put together. I used it over night with it being warm outside since I do not have ac yet. It kept my room very cool. I was extremely happy about that.

This product, is amazing! 100% effective. Easy to use, literally put water in the little containers they provide. Freeze them, add them in! simple! Been using this fan even without the ice containers and still works very well.

    • Nice n cool air .Week base.Squeeky sounds when rotating
Just received and tried for a day.It blows very nice and cool air,not much noisy.Only complain is the week base which has very tiny screws to attach the base with fan,if you have kids in home which could push the fan to ground then this would not survive a fall.Suggestion for manufacturer is to build a better and strong base. Update after a week: The fan makes squeeky sounds when put in rotation mode ,making hard to sleep during night. ... show more
