Ordered two of these which were shipped to the house a few days after the order was placed. Packaging was excellent and the bikes arrived intact. Assembly took 20 minutes or so a piece. Quality appears to be pretty good for the $700 price point. I was surprised to see shimano drivetrain and the display monitor is really impressive for the price. The display is bright clear and easy to navigate and the controls are simple to use. The mechanical disk brakes and front suspension is decent at best, however they function as you would expect at this price point. The bike has 5 modes and can easily be adjusted to suit all skill levels. As others have mentioned, they do 30mph effortlessly. There are many similar bikes out there but I felt these were better looking and a better value considering the price of the others. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase and will update this review after a few months. UPDATE - many rides over the last few months and they are still working flawlessly. Very pleased with this purchase. Really impressed with the battery life. Overall great purchase.

I've purchased 3 of these bikes now. For the price, these are awesome bikes. Pros: * Removable battery pack. In the winter I will need to bring the battery inside. That's a lot better than bringing the whole bike inside. Or, I can bring the battery inside to charge while eating out at a restaurant. * Wide tires and mud guards - perfect on my gravel roads * Power and range - Perfect for the rolling hills around here * Standard bicycle parts - Everything on these bikes is standard gear. You can customize and add-on all the extras * Solid frame - Very strong * Tools included - I keep them in a pouch on the bike. Very nice to have all the tools needed. Cons: * All steal - heavy and will rust. Maybe someday they will make an aluminum version. You will need to take care of these bikes a little better. Keep them dry, oil them well. One example is the screw mounts will rush. * Head light is not very bright - The head light really could use a high mode. My dirt road has potholes. I can dodge them, but it's a lot harder when you see them at the last second. And i have to dodge frogs and turtles too. * Tail light modes - This should be an easy upgrade. The tail lights are very simple. It could use a few more modes, like maybe a flashing mode for when riding on the road, and a tail light mode where the tail lights are on but the head lamp is off. * Standardized battery pack and mounting - This is a bigger issue for the industry. It would be great if all the batteries were standardized and interchangeable. * The battery key lock - Good idea, but I have 3 bikes and 3 different keys. It would be really nice if they were all the same. * Handle grips - They used fake leather grips. Real leather would be much better. Will probably get new handles grips later. One last thing, please make the battery packs and extra chargers available on Amazon. We could use a solar charger too. Sure, the solar charger would not be fast. But when it's sitting outside all day, it would be amazing if it self topped off the battery.

Using pedal assist or throttle delivers same “speed/sensation of power”. Using the throttle at the same time as pedal assist does not give additional power. You have to change the pedal assist level to get more power with the throttle which is a bit strange. There are gears but it seems to work best to leave it in 5th gear and just use the pedal assist levels. Okay e-bike for the price, assembly took half an hour, sturdy, low to the ground, fit my 5’4” height well, seat IS NOT comfy so plan on buying a different one if you’re going to be riding any substantial distances.

I am a cruiser, I pedal most of the time with the motor on pedal assist. Typically I get 35+ miles per charge but have managed 65 using the motor on low pedal assist. The less you use the higher (level 5) motor assist the better the mileage. With pedal assist 5 the bike exceeds 30 mph easily. Faster if pedaling. Excellent for a 48V 20Ah system. I recently purchase a spare battery and now carry it for peace of mind. I don't need it often but when I do decide to venture out further I know I can carry the spare and I'll always have enough juice to get me home. This is my 2nd Ebike. The first was a 26" monsters, one with fat tires. At 6' 180 large bikes are too heavy and too awkward for me to handle. I'm 74. This 20" Fat tire Ebike with the step through design is perfect. I can get on and go easily and can stop, get off the seat and put one or both feet firmly on the ground, safely. The Fat tires go a long way in absorbing bumps that you can't avoid . I like them. And that brings me to the seat. If you choose an Ebike and just want to get some easy exercise you'll spend most of the ride sitting. I changed out the seat as most folks who buy an Ebike do for one that is wider and better suited to my size. Seats are relatively inexpensive and take minutes to change. My new ebike wish list required easy on/off step through design, full fenders on front and rear, an included rear rack for carrying stuff and a BMX bike style handlebar with fork shock absorbers. And finally a big motor/battery setup. I like to ride upright. This Ebike allowed me to adjust the handlebars and seat to give me just that. Like I said, I'm a cruiser, not interested in riding all hunched over. The Velectrec Cityrang 4.0 is a Winner, it came with everything on my must have list. Also worth mentioning, this ebike has a very, very reasonable price. Total of 25 minutes for assembly, then ride around the block a few times to drain the battery as you do with a new Lithium. Then charge the battery until full (5 hrs and 10 min on this big battery) and your ready to travel. After 3 weeks and 280 miles..... zero issues. I made a great choice. This one earns 6 STARS. 4 3/4 stars: I'm a 70 year old woman in reasonable health, about 180lbs and 5' 8". This bike is the biggest and heaviest that I would want to hold up but is comfortable for me. I really like it. I thought long and hard about an online purchase of something like this but am very glad I made the decision to go with this bike. It is really sturdy, fast and powerful, easy to assemble, and is a great price for what you are getting. The only downside I have found in the design of this bike is that the back rack is impossible to find a metal bike basket or a pannier bag that will work with the wide sides of the fender/rack. I have purchased and returned 4 so far trying to find something, and the company has no accessories for this newest model bike yet. I wanted something that looked as slick as my bike but will end up having to rig something homemade to have any carrying capacity. Other then that minor disappointment, I like my bike a lot.

Great bike for the money. After many months spent reading reviews and doing research- I came across the EUY F7 foldable bike with large battery capacity and 750 watt motor. I knew that I wanted to climb hills and ride trails. The F7 has been a joy to ride through the local streets and trails galore- 392 miles to date. I was nearly paralyzed from the neck down to my toes - severe spinal cord compression C3-C4. I could hardly walk without falling- hardly button a shirt- constantly dropping my drink/ phone / keys- etc. Post surgery ( spinal cord decompression- 6/2021) my initial rehabilitation was resistance bands and walking with a pair of carbon fiber hiking sticks. January 2023 - I purchased the EUY F7 - It has opened up my world. I have the ability to adjust how much assistance I want/need and explore so many places. This has been great for my body, mind and soul. Loosing the ability to use your arms and legs is beyond scary (& depressing) . This F7 has Fat tires, big battery , & a bigger 750 watt motor that gives me the ability to tackle trails and hills, quick trips to the local hardware & grocery stores. I even road to the local historic village to meet some friends (11.2 miles each way) a couple weeks ago. My legs are getting stronger (waking up) and the F7 has really helped with my progress. I am always pedaling with different levels of assistance & gear selection -depending on terrain, incline, headwind & ability. Customer service has been great too- from setting the programmable parameters to maintenance recommendations/ adjustments. They respond within 24 hrs and include attached photos for clarity.
