  • Easy Assembly, great value for the money, so fun to ride
Color: blue
Ride: Its a bit heavy but it rides very well. I lubed up the chain and it helped with shifting which is smooth. Overall its a smooth ride and the shocks help a lot. I mainly do town riding with a bit of gravel and dirt, and its great here. I dont know about trail riding with it, but I think it would be alright for some light things. Assembly: I found it quite easy to assemble, it came with every tool needed. I do not believe most people would need youtube, but there are tutorials on youtube should you get stuck on a step and want extra help. Things you might need: It comes with a tire pump, but you will either want a new one that has a gauge built into it, or a small tire pressure gauge to see the pressure. 60psi is decent for road riding. Other accessories are up to you, like a bike lock, helmet, gloves, bags etc... Things to Replace: Its not an expensive bike, so naturally a few things might need replaced. The first is the seat, it is super uncomfortable. I replaced it and its a comfy ride. I guarantee you will not like the stock one so just get a new one and save yourself the buttache. Secondly the tires are decent, but the tubes inside are just normal tubes and could puncture, rather easily if you ride in town where sometimes theres glass on the road. Replacing them with a puncture-resistant tube is not a bad idea. I did this and carry the tools to change it and a spare tube with me. Otherwise the bike seems solid, the folding function works great and I've ridden this for a few hundred miles and loved every bit of it. You might want to re-grease the wheel bearings and do some general maintenance, but overall it seemed great from the factory and I cant recommend it enough, especially for the price. You won't regret it, enjoy! ... show more

  • Great bike for the price
Color: green
First surprise out of the box was the badging: Kingttu instead of Eurobike. But I noticed it was identical to the Eurobike--including Eurobike badging elsewhere on the frame, etc. Different name, same bike. Second surprise was no quick release on front wheel as mentioned in the manual. But I couldn't see that on photos of the bike itself online. Third surprise was the rims seemed to wobble. I first thought they must be bent or not trued correctly. But long story short it turned out that the tires were molded improperly. Fortunately the manufacturer was very good and responsive about correcting that situation and I was able to get the tires replaced. They were polite, apologetic and cooperative. Also fortunate that the next surprise was a good one: The bike didn't need much of anything as far as adjustment. Just a little tightening up here and there. First time in decades of biking that I didn't have to adjust anything out of the box so to speak. And now having ridden it for a bit, I will need to adjust the front derailleur. And not very much. This is perfectly normal. On Any bike the cables stretch, and so one or more of the derailers usually need a bit of adjustment after a few rides. Bikes are not plug and play... Please do not be upset if they need some adjustment right off the bat or shortly thereafter. Speaking of riding, especially at this price point the bike handles well. As I'm a little older now I'm not exactly a boulder hopping maniac anymore. But I did hit some appreciable speeds on decent trails. No complaints. Speaking of which... I strongly believe value/performance for the money is the most important measure. This bike is not perfect. But neither is my old Pontiac, which is economical, reliable, practical... But it would be ludicrous to compare it to a Porsche, a BMW... But sadly in all manner of reviews I see such "apples and peaches" comparisons all the time. But again for the money, I'm very happy with the bike. In going to the bike shop (something I try to avoid at nearly all costs because I'm invariably told directly or indirectly how crappy my cheap bike truly is) I told them about a $150 mountain bike that I rode hard for nearly 20 years. And it was still fine. I just needed to upgrade to one with a suspension. (I won't mention the brand as they have gone downhill in quality.) In the meantime I had acquired a few other cheap bikes which at best were not very good. This Kingttu/Eurobike is much better. The only remaining question is how long it will hold up over time. But I don't foresee unreasonable problems. And again as a matter of proper perspective, most of what are considered to be true trail bikes for the serious enthusiast cost thousands of dollars. (The cheapest bike in the shop where I went was around $1, 300. And that's with no suspension.) But for the average user, for someone like myself looking for easy to moderate trails or for some street riding, this bike fits the bill. But for someone looking to do heavy use on more brutal trails, at this price point you are comparing a Porsche to a Pontiac. My car wouldn't last at high speed or perform anywhere near as well as the Porche, but that doesn't mean it's not a good car (At over 230,000 miles it still gets over 30 miles per gallon and barely uses any oil.) And directly that this isn't a good bike. Suspension bikes ironically are more delicate because they have more moving parts. That older bike I had forever had no suspension. I have little doubt if it did it would not have lasted nearly as long. As they wear out suspension bikes start to handle wonky and can become unsafe without proper maintenance--which can become cost prohibitive on an old bike. So... Yes, for the money this is a very good bike. Comfortable ride. Handles well. Nice gear range. I like the shifters... No complaints. (But as always as I'm north of 50 I replaced the seat for more comfort. And the pedals as well as that's something I've done on every bike I've ever gotten. I like a little bit more grip so I don't slip off. And they nearly always seem the cheapest or worst part of a bike straight out of the box. I've also tossed in some more bucks for other modifications like bullhorn grips on the handlebars, and a carrier and pack so I can repair the bike if necessary on the trail. But again I would do the same for any bike. It truly isn't fun to break down or get a flat miles from nowhere with no means to repair the bike--and that has happened to me. Lesson learned. And before I end this review I should talk a little bit about brakes. One of the main reasons I chose this bike is I've noticed that most others in my price range essentially now have side pull brakes. As delicately and politely as I can put it, they are not fun to work on. They are not reliable... Center pull are fine but I was surprised that I didn't see them anywhere. Unlike the side pull, they pull equally on each brake pad and so a whole bucket full of problems are averted. As for disc brakes, they work great but I would recommend watching a video or two about how to properly break them in and care for them. Mine started to squeal and I learned a few things as I had never had them before. They are now fine. (I just cleaned them up a bit in this case. Didn't need to pull the pads or anything.) But in general they should be properly broken in and maintained. Again bikes are not plug and play... (As a PostScript since writing this review I've done some research as I couldn't seem to find center pull brakes anywhere. Sadly they've become mostly obsolete... pretty much relegated to "vintage" bikes. (Apparently I'm showing my age.) I read that side pull brakes are "better" as they are easier to adjust. I sincerely hope they have Vastly improved over the years because that was definitively Never my experience with them. Center pull brakes provide more road clearance as well, and the Only time I needed to touch them was when changing out brake pads. That's it. Can't say the same for side pull brakes (I even went to a bike shop or two to have my side pull brakes adjusted and they didn't have any better success than I did. A waste of time and money.) But they are cheaper to manufacture so I think that plays into the equation quite heavily. So personally I'm going to play it safe and stick with disc brakes.) ... show more

  • Looks good so far
Color: blue
I was looking for a folding bike that wasn’t so expensive and so far so good. I haven’t ridden yet but it looks like everything works. It is pretty heavy and the wheels are a little big, but it still folds. If anything bad happens I’ll update .

  • Made for specific people
Color: blue
I bought this product for my 15 yr old son. He's 5'8 and weighs about 130. He was able to assemble it by himself while I was away, so I give it a B for assembly, as it was pretty clear on how to do it, but it took him around an hour or so to fully assemble it without any knowledge or experience. While it is folded, it is actually pretty heavy, so bringing it up and down stairs won't be so pleasant. Also, when the handlebars were placed outwards from the bike, my son said that it was too comfortable, as he has to reach to grab it. We fixed that by putting the handlebars inwards towards the main frame, and it works well like that. In addition, folding the bike isn't the easiest. You have to drag it a certain way for it to be folded smoothly. Otherwise, it's gets kind of difficult. Overall, good product, if it fits you. ... show more

  • Bike is too heavy, difficult to fold, and impossible to return
Color: blue
I bought two foldable bikes. One X-spec bike and one Eurobike. The eurobike was much heavier than expected, but more importantly, it's extremely difficult and uncomfortable to fold. The X-spec bike was easy to fold and easier to use. It was very inconvenient to use so I tried to return it. However, to make matters worse, this bike is impossible to return. The seller does not provide you with any paid return label, so you are forced to pay for the shipping out of pocket. My local UPS wanted to charge more than the bike was worth (around $400), and the seller refused to provide a return label or compensate for the shipping. So unless you want to risk being stuck with this bike, go for another brand with better customer service. ... show more
