I finally got around to install the canopy cover after putting it off since March 2022 due to lack of personnel. Anyhow, the previous canopy was from a sporting company and we decided to leave it out on the patio all 4 seasons. A bad idea. The original canopy finally gave way to a windy day and ripped the side of the canopy. Putting the new canopy cover wasn't too hard with 4 people. Once we had it up and secured, I noticed a few things lacking on this new canopy. First, no ties to secure the canopy to the truss frame but only on the four side brackets. You will need to secure the four corners of the canopy to the frame otherwise it may slip off on a gusty day such as the ones here in western WA. Lastly, don't be surprised if the dome cap is not a snug fit. The included weight bags I filled with small rocks may not be enough hold it down. We'll see what happens. ... show more

COVER DOES WELL FOR SUN PROTECTION, EASY TO PUT ON... BUT IF YOU PLAN TO LEAVE IT UP FOR A WHILE...CHECK THE WEATHER REPORT FOR WIND AND RAIN. THE COVER FILLS WITH RAIN AND THE WIND WILL RIP THE COVERING OFF AND TAKE DOWN AND/OR DESTROY YOUR STRUCTURE.
