I would recommend an attachable pillow for head rest when lounging. I game for hours on end and this chair has been a life saver for my 38 year old back.     • Save up a little bit for a good quality chair ***UPDATED
Chair is priced in between SL chairs and amazon basics. Seating is good once assembled but the problem is the quality of parts. My main concern would be the longevity because 2 of the M8 32mm screws which attach the backrest to the seat itself. They don't fit right. Initially, i thought that i had tighten the other screws too much to the point of misaligning them. But upon closer inspection, the hole seems to angle from one direction to another (goes in towards right then a curve to the left.) Now I had to use the extra 19mm which doesnt even make it all the way in the same hole, and another 19mm from a different piece of furniture. I'm hoping the backrest doesn't snap as i'm using it. At this point, it would be too much effort to return it due to the bulk and weight so I'll just eat the $300+ i spent on it. UPDATE They have contacted me through the messages in the amazon app. They have identified the issue and sent in a replacement backrest which fits a lot better and easier than the previous one it came with. The original screws it came with fit well and will hopefully maintain it's integrity. So far, the seat is comfortable and offers a lot of adjustment. I am able to comfortably sit long hours. Seating is firm but not uncomfortable as other reviews say (but this part is subjective.) Overall, I would but this chair again if needed and if it were priced between 190-250$. Added 2 stars because customer is support goes a long way and they were quick to reply. ... show more

My husband streams on the side and needed a comfortable set up for long sessions at his computer. This chair has a number of ways that you can adjust it for comfort, and a thick foam seat. We've had it for a little over a month and it's helped my husband with some back issues that had been flaring up. This chair is great! I was skeptical about the 4-D lumbar pillow doohickey but oh my....it's amazing! In combination with Eureka Ergonomic's footrest, I can feel it correcting my horrible posture and it feels so damn good! For 44 years my posture has been like a slug against a post. This chair has support in all the right places. The adjustable options are incredible! You can set armrests and seat to about any position you could want. The chair is crazy comfortable and fits me (6' 200 lbs) like a dream! The fabric cushions are thick and feel like they'll last a long time.     • Nice chair, arm rests too low
So far this chair is great. I love the back plate that shifts as you move. The seat is comfortable until about 10 hours and then it starts to feel hard. I like all the positions you can do. My only complaint, and reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that the arm rests are too low. The highest you can raise them is lower than my previous chair and I end up leaning to one side to use them, which starts to hurt my back. If there had been a review that mentioned the lower arm rests, I might not have ordered it. But overall, happy with it none the less, eases my back pain some. ... show more

    • Fine for a while...
The assembly for the wheels is terrible and the durability did not last. If any pressure is applied towards the center of the chair base, there is a potential to bend the plates that connect the wheels to the arms. I have 2 wheels which over time have literally ripped the aluminum of the base, also thin-walled aluminum for a chair??? The padding has given out over my time owning this chair, now when I sit I feel the entire structure pressing into my spine and legs. The ergonomic back rest actually has caused more pain in my back than the Ikea chair I had used before this. This was a decent purchase when I initially recieved it, but after living with this chair and using it on a daily basis, I now believe otherwise. ... show more

I’ve been looking for a good chair for a while and finally settle on the python II and I could not happier with my purchase . If you’re looking for a sturdy chair with plenty of room and adjustability, I’d recommend giving this one a shot . Assembling it wasn’t much of a task either .
