Crunchy Ice! Just like Sonic. The ice is so awesome! Everyone is my house is obsessed. The ice is small and soft so you can just eat it by the cup full. I love having it in all of my drinks. Super easy to fill and clean. The basket is small but I like that so the ice does not sit there forever. We have not had a problem with keeping it full (even with 5 people digging into it). If you like ice either in a drink or just to chew than this device is for you! It's a simple machine that produces a small 3/8" ice cube that is very consistent in size and softness. The ice is small and soft and presents no threat to your teeth, if you like to chew your ice with a drink. The machine takes about 8 oz. of tap water to produce a container about 4" x 6" x 3" of great ice. The extremely quiet machine takes about six minutes to start producing a small tub of ice and additional 15 minutes to run about six pieces at a time as they drop into the tub automatically. Then, take the container out of the machine and scoop (provided) some soft delicious ice into a container or glass. Cleaning the device is fairly simple. Just add a teaspoon of vinegar to about 8 ounces of water that you pour normally into the machine for a batch of ice. Then, push the button and hold it in for a few seconds. The device makes a tainted container of ice that you dispose of. It takes about 15 minutes all automatic. After that, simply put the machine over the sink and pull the drain plug while running water to flush it out. It clears calcium build up and any other debris from the machine. You need to do this weekly if you make a lot of ice. Easy job that cleans and does not leave any taste of vinegar. This great machine is worth every penny of the $200 it costs! I highly recommend it!

The media could not be loaded. I bought this nugget icemaker and rec'd it two days ago. Here's what I've learned so far. Pros: a) Packaged really well. Unless someone really tried to destroy it, it should come in just fine. Nice job! b) Easy to take all the pieces out, clean and put back together (hint: there aren't many parts, which is nice!) c) They say ice in 6 mins... True but not enough to use. lol My attached video shows this. However, in 20 mins there was enough for one cup. Give it an hour and it'll be about full. It'll auto turn off as the ice gets stuck coming out of the chute so it thinks it's full but it's only about 2/3 full. That's fine. All ice machines will do this. Several glasses worth in an hour. d) Very compact and pretty light. e) Pretty quiet. You can hear it but there is a lot going on inside to create the ice. It's not loud enough to be a bother. f) Delicious nugget ice! No complaints on size or taste! g) Easy to drain, dry off and put away. Cons: I can't come up with any. How long will it last? That's the real question. Only time will tell. Overall, here was my goal. I just wanted to use it for a day, bag up a bunch of ice, drain and dry and put it away until I needed more ice. The reason for this goal was this... My first nugget maker was the GE Profile 2.0. Almost $600. I ran it 24/7 (I use a lot of ice). This was a mistake. Running it that much wore it out too quickly and also dirtied it up too easily. There was no good way to clean it other that hoping the "clean" setting actually did clean it. Well, it didn't. I don't think any can. You can't take any of them apart enough to make sure there isn't black gunk growing in all the guts of the machines. This nugget maker is easier to get too. The top lifts off and you can actually see the inside water tank and the big front tank and clean them both. Much better and a third of the price. Will it make ice as fast? Heck's no. Can I make ice for a few hours and bag it up and put in the freezer? Heck's yeah. I'm going for price now. I'll make ice, clean up the machine and put away for a week. So far, this is a great buy!!

Received my order in two days, then let it sit upright for 24 more hours per instruction. (It was hard to wait to make my ice!). Followed instructions again to run through cleaning cycle, throwing away first three batches. I was excited to learn it had a little drainage plug which is convenient to drain water before adding fresh water again. Easy to do! I wipe out after enough ice was made and know it’s clean for next day! Machine is quiet!!! Didn’t even know it was making little bullets! They are perfect. Best investment in a long time. You want Sonic ice? Fraction of the cost of industrial ones. Love it! Icees for grandkids! 🩷

So we have a Samsung refrigerator. They are notorious for horrible ice makers. After replacing it 3 times I had enough! Seen this ice maker and thought I’d give it a chance. So far so good! Makes ice quick and efficient! I just run it to fill the ice compartment in the fridge, then shut it down and clean it until I need ice again. Works great so far! Beats paying over $200 for a part that will likely fail in 6 months or sooner.
