Bought this to use in our camper! First I want to list the Pros- machine is easy to set up, quiet, makes alot of ice quickly, perfect size for outdoor cook area on our camper, ice is just like Sonics ice, machine arrived within a few days of order being placed. Cons- there was some sort of grease on outside of machine. So far doesn’t seem to have effected anything. This also puts out a lot of heat. Keep that in mind as to where you set it up at. Biggest con- I SHOULD HAVE ORDERED THIS SOONER! We love it, we make up a few bags of ice, toss in freezer and I drain water from machine and wipe it out. Put it away for a few days till we need more.

We LOVE our ice maker! Works perfectly and makes the ice quickly. The right add in our motorhome for having ice for our drinks, keep our drinks in the ice chest cool. I would recommend for anyone looking for the perfect ice making experience. It make about a gallon zip lock bag of ice each time it runs, the ice quality is the right size and consistency. We've had ours for about a year and half and it's worked great - producing the soft ice everyone is looking for. It does make noise, about what you'd get from a decent in window AC unit. We used distilled water and cleaned it regularly with bleach or vinegar cleaning solutions. We also took canned air to it to clear the dust out often. However after 18 months, it started to heat up and not produce as much ice. I peaked inside with a flashlight and saw that the coils/radiator piece was caked with dust - and it's not easily serviceable. You have to take half the case off. Which I did and successfully cleared it out. Unfortunately I damaged one of the fan blades in the process. And now it's non functional. So 4 stars for a good product, minus for an inability to easily clear out those coils from dust build up. I really think it would have lasted much longer if that were an easily serviceable item. If I get another one, I may try an air compressor on it every month or so to clear those coils out.

Bought this ice maker for my wife on Mother’s Day. Was a little nervous after reading others reviews. Best sonic ice ever!!!!!!! It is a little more noisy than I would like but I waited a few hours and plugged it in and in minutes I had my first ice start falling in the basket! This thing is an ice making monster as long as you keep the water level up you will see always have ice when it’s needed. It takes a little maintenance (filling it, pushing the ice down so it clears and keeps running) but it has become a big part of our family routine. It is a little noisy but once you get used to it it’s worth every soft, chewable, awesome pice of frozen goodness. Wish I had bought this for Christmas would have been enjoying the ice sooner! Great so far!

Absolutely love this little nugget ice maker! Works great for me, the only caveat I have is notice the word "little". The ice maker is small, meaning a full batch of ice will fill one large travel mug. (32oz). It does make ice quickly, just small batches. Which for single folks is a huge plus. I've been able to fill my defunct ice makers bin with some patience. Would I buy it again? Yes. Just be aware of the "batch" size

So, when I first purchased this thing I loved it, so this review may get funky. Pros: * nugget ice, amirite? * ice is perfect - soft, crunchy, chewy, nugget ice * Euhomy customer service is pretty decent That’s about where the pros end. Notice one of them is “Euhomy customer service is pretty decent?” I had to deal with them quite a bit regarding my icemaker, because about 7 months after purchase it began making a horrible screeching, grinding noise. They told me to descale it, which I did - using their descaling solution. It didn’t help. They sent me a new pump and motor, with links to videos on how to replace them; these took nearly three months to arrive, bringing me past the 1 year limited time warranty period. So, regardless of the 1 year warranty period, I had an icemaker for less than 7 months. The cleaning process is messy, and a bit annoying. The drain plug is in an inconvenient spot and if you don’t re-seat it properly, you’ll damage whatever the icemaker sits on if it leaks. The “6 minutes” is … a very hopeful estimate. You might get ice in 6 minutes if it’s about 65 degrees in your house. Otherwise, you should expect 8-10. Definitely not as fast as it claims. And this thing generates a good bit of heat, so if you’re using it in an RV, be prepared for that. This would heat my living room and kitchen almost unbearably in the summer even with the AC running. So Euhomy gets a good review for customer service, but this ice maker itself? I wouldn’t buy it again. I could buy 2 bags of ice from Sonic every week for a year and spend 1/2 the price, honestly - it would also save on my AC bills and aggravation.
