The media could not be loaded. I bought this nugget icemaker and rec'd it two days ago. Here's what I've learned so far. Pros: a) Packaged really well. Unless someone really tried to destroy it, it should come in just fine. Nice job! b) Easy to take all the pieces out, clean and put back together (hint: there aren't many parts, which is nice!) c) They say ice in 6 mins... True but not enough to use. lol My attached video shows this. However, in 20 mins there was enough for one cup. Give it an hour and it'll be about full. It'll auto turn off as the ice gets stuck coming out of the chute so it thinks it's full but it's only about 2/3 full. That's fine. All ice machines will do this. Several glasses worth in an hour. d) Very compact and pretty light. e) Pretty quiet. You can hear it but there is a lot going on inside to create the ice. It's not loud enough to be a bother. f) Delicious nugget ice! No complaints on size or taste! g) Easy to drain, dry off and put away. Cons: I can't come up with any. How long will it last? That's the real question. Only time will tell. Overall, here was my goal. I just wanted to use it for a day, bag up a bunch of ice, drain and dry and put it away until I needed more ice. The reason for this goal was this... My first nugget maker was the GE Profile 2.0. Almost $600. I ran it 24/7 (I use a lot of ice). This was a mistake. Running it that much wore it out too quickly and also dirtied it up too easily. There was no good way to clean it other that hoping the "clean" setting actually did clean it. Well, it didn't. I don't think any can. You can't take any of them apart enough to make sure there isn't black gunk growing in all the guts of the machines. This nugget maker is easier to get too. The top lifts off and you can actually see the inside water tank and the big front tank and clean them both. Much better and a third of the price. Will it make ice as fast? Heck's no. Can I make ice for a few hours and bag it up and put in the freezer? Heck's yeah. I'm going for price now. I'll make ice, clean up the machine and put away for a week. So far, this is a great buy!! ... show more

Purchased this for $199 on Amazon, and added the insurance JUST IN CASE. I have been using it for 2 weeks straight, daily non-stop and it's working great, The noise level is a bit much for me, but I think they are all kind of noisy. The ice is just the way we like, brittle nuggets that you can easily chew and great to break down for smoothies and also for our morning ice coffee. Received 8.1.2023 and so far it's working great with the constant use. Will report back after a few months. It is very easy to use. Just plug it in, fill it with water and off it goes! I love nugget ice and waited a long time to find one I liked. The only thing I wish it did was have a water line but for being portable and easy to use I am very happy with it so far. I wasn't sure how to rate flavor because it is ice but I think my favorite part is when it first starts making ice and it hasn't quite solidified yet it is just like eating snow! It is a bit noisy, but it is ok because that is when I know when I have to fill it with water or empty the basket. If I had to choose one thing I do not like an that is the ice bunches up on the right so it will stop with the basket 1/2 empty. ... show more
