this ice machine has been one of the best investments we have made in a long time. the only issue I can honestly say we have had with this machine, is about six months in, we started finding a black residue on the ice bucket as well as the bottom of the machine. I cleaned this machine once a week and I always have since the day I begin using it. Customer service has been wonderful and sent us a replacement unit. We are not sure if it’s because of gears grinding or bearings grinding. But nonetheless, customer service responded with several things to do to try to resolve the issue and they ended up sending us a replacement unit at no cost. I can honestly say I would purchase this unit over and over again.

Had it about a month now and couldn’t be happier. Couldn’t hook it up to a water line so we just fill it. It states that I’ve will melt if left in for a long period of time since it’s not a freezer but we haven’t seen it happen. It’s quick, easy, quiet and makes awesome pebble ice. I did purchase the extended warranty offer just in case. Several reviews have stated that it can start to make a loud noise and then go out after a while but the company is great to deal with on a replacement if you have the warranty. Better safe than sorry. All in all, totally worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this brand new, followed all instructions prior to use. It runs and has never produced a single ice cube. It is actually very loud when trying to cycle water and makes a loud whiny sound. I reached out to the manufacturer for help, and all they suggested was I clean it and run the cleaning cycle. That didn’t work and their only suggestion was to return it to Amazon. Total piece of garbage and company is clearly as bad. Wouldn’t buy this or anything else they make. The video is all that happens, water runs through the unit and trickles out the opening that ice should drop.

We had our ice maker for about 6 months when suddenly it stopped making ice. We worked with Customer Service especially Willow, the CS Rep. They gave me things to try and even sent me a part to replace. It was not that hard, even for an old man. But it still did not work. So they sent a replacement and all is good. We love the nuggets of ice again. When I purchased this, I was a bit wary. It was from a company I was not familiar with and I was concern about service. But they handled everything so well I would highly recommend them to you.

The media could not be loaded. Our family loves to chew ice and southerners want their ice in the tea to fill the cup (almost touching your nose when you drink)! This unit has been working flawlessly for several months now. Wish it had a greater capacity, to hold more ice…but it makes ice so fast that we only have a struggle keeping up with the demand when all the kids come in for Sunday Lunch (22 of us eat at moms home cooked meals every weekend). So I just bag up the extra on Saturday and we’re good to go on Sunday. I actually choose this model because you can hook it up to a water supply, but it’s so easy to pour in more water when needed (machine notifies me when water is low)…and I’m enjoying using different bottled water (spring, alkaline, different brands) that we just keep our gallon jugs beside the unit! Anyway…this is a hit with my wife and kids and grands…wish I’d bought one years ago.

The media could not be loaded. Update! The company sent me a brand new one. I think they did a wonderful job of correcting the issue and I would recommend. Thank you! I like the machine, it was making ice, but occasionally makes the noise in the video. I have to unplug it, wait for it to cool, then plug it back in and turn it on. I have been in communication with their customer service and they asked me to disassemble to check the bar in the inside. After a few attempts and almost losing some screws, I accomplish this. The bar is fine. However, in the process, I found plastic and foam seals around the mechanism to be charred. I won't be using this until I hear back from their customer service about refunding or replacing it. I will change my rating after a reasonable solution is agreed upon.

This ice maker worked great for a few months. Then it started making a very annoying noise like it was freezing up. I finally contacted the company and they sent me a brand new one. Hopefully this one will last longer than the first one.
