Love this. Husband bought for my birthday after my other one started leaking. This is so superior to my first espresso machine. Easy to operate. Turn on, grinds coffee right into portafilter. Brews very nice single or double shot of espresso. The milk steamer works very well and has an insulating cover that allows you to move it without burning your fingers. The water reservoir holds enough for several cups. The steamer is a little loud. I give it five stars on value for money. Although I’ve only had the opportunity to use this machine a few times as it’s in our vacation home, I found it easy to use and thought it made a great latte. Great value for the price, I have a Breville at home that I use daily and found it comparable.

I will start with the disclaimer that I am NOT a barista. I get coffee all the time but never made it myself other than a standard drip pot and one time for a month or so a really cheap espresso machine. I have been using this at least daily for the past few months and am very happy with it. As another review said, the grinder does tend to over fill so you have to stop it but thats not a huge deal to me because I don't walk away for that 10 seconds it takes. The grind size adjustment is very easy but cleaning it can be a little tricky to get into all the crevices (or I just havent fully figured out how to take it all apart yet!). Once you stop the grinding, the brewing lights are a little delayed to light up. Not sure why but also, not the end of the world to me. The coffee brews great and tastes as good as any coffee shop as long as you have good beans. The water tank lasts forever unless you're using the steamer. On that note, the steamer is LOUD and high pitched loud. If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend heating milk in the microwave. This machine is easy to learn and fits well on my counter (but it is large so make sure you have space). I do love that I bought this, and would buy it again, but I took away 1 star for those little things I mentioned. I figure theyre each worth .25-.33 of a star. ... show more

Makes great coffee! I have friends with absurdly high end coffee systems. I prefer my coffee maker. This is a great value! In a pre-coffee haze I put chocolate chips in instead of coffee beans. In this experience I learned that the coffee grinder components can be taken out and cleaned. There is a technique to the process of making coffee, it is worth the journey. I use the frother every time. You are listening for the sound of ripping paper. It works great. ... show more

I am a barista, so I naturally have a bit higher standards for an espresso machine. I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for one, so I decided to try out this one and see if it’s worth it. From the second I picked up the box from my porch, I could immediately tell why this was cheap. The espresso machine itself is very light and the portafilter is basically plastic. It looks nice, but I could tell it wasn’t going to last long at all. I made a couple shots of espresso, using the same beans we do at my job and it didn’t taste right (might’ve been in my head though). The setup was very easy and taking it apart was as well. I sent it back the next day to ensure I could return it and get a refund. I advise you to get something that might be a bit pricier if it means it lasts longer, and works better. Again, I didn’t have the machine long enough to tell little details, but i will say you get what you pay for with this one. ... show more

Bought this for my daughter as a birthday gift - she loves it and has not gone back to store bought coffee. Fairly easy to use and consisitenly makes great espresso coffee. The frother is a little weird to use but once you get the hang of it, it's fun.

Takes a bit to get used to. The coffee machine took a bit to pressurize quite the way I wanted it to not a bad thing I think the number I used to grind the coffee is very much different which depends on the bean. I found that if I keep it between 18-25 for grind it’s perfect. And some espresso beans like it from 12-18. The quality is great over all. The accessories are fantastic that it comes with. I use reverse osmosis water which I recommend. Do not run unfiltered tap water in this as hard water will kill almost any espresso machine. It’s easy to clean love the chrome accents looks great. The descaling process I found to be great and quick….yeah I’m really happy with it. I bought warranty just because you never know. But yes get one for the price worth it!!! Coffee comes out hot and frothy. (Not a bot) ... show more

Don’t purchase. Not worth the hassle. Quality not there. We have tried different beans, grind size, shot size, cleaning the whole thing even though it’s brand new and it just doesn’t produce quality espresso. I have to press the button multiple times just to get it to work. The steam wand crap...I have to turn and reset the knob about multiple times before it will register I’m trying to steam. I’ve even slowed down my pace of using the machine thinking it needed time to warm and calibrate but not even that. When pulling shots it will pressurize and let some of the shot out then stop after a second or two; and then I have to hit the shot button again to get about 15-20 more seconds of shot pull. It’s consistent with these issues regardless of any variable being changed. I really should receive a refund. This is unacceptable even for the on sale price. CHEAP. Not functional. A chore to use. Plastic material not stainless. ... show more
