I liked that was easy to set up along with easy to use. I really like how theres an alarm type sound that goes off when needs to be emptied and wont turn back on until it's drained. That's extremely important to know considering the fact if dont check occasionally it could cause a really big mess. Trust me I know!! My daughter had a different air conditioner like this one before and didn't even know that some types have to be emptied. So of course she found out the hard way. I also like that its very easy to move to a different room if needed. If have any issues at all the seller was extremely helpful and make things right. Most importantly cools room off fast.     • Mighty blower
The blower is quite powerful, although my unit is only 8000. My room is small, so I doubt that I would have to use the "high" setting. There is considerable noise, but that is natural. After all, it is not a window unit which expels all the noise outward; in portable units, the noise remains inside your room. In any case... The instructions are terrible; be prepared to use your technical imagination for the setup. Also, look up some online demonstrations for other brands; the fundaments for all units are the same. All in all, the air blown is cold and mighty, so I would highly recommend it. I hope it lasts... ... show more

Product itself had some major flaws and despite emptying entire unit of water, flashed red for full tank and stopped working after a little over a month and a half. The fan works fine and when it functions it functions well, but for a dehumidifying function I would use a different device for sure and cannot vouch for the time expectancy of this unit. Be aware that I had initially intended two stars for the function issues but after the merchant reached out to me and offered a full refund, I agreed to raise the rating as they did follow through and refund me the full amount for the unit. Proceed knowing that you may be assisted if the unit malfunctions, but may first need to go through the headache of hot weather and trying to figure out what is wrong with the unit. ... show more

    • Works great, glad I bought it.
The first one arrived damaged and non functional, after an email to the company they immediately sent a replacement (thanks Betty), The replacement works as designed and I can absolutely recommend buying from this dealer. The machine itself is a little louder than I would like but not to bad that I cant live with it, I use it in my bedroom which is 15x30 with a vaulted ceiling and it chills the place very well. ... show more

    • Does not cool a 200sqft room well, but works
The machine does what it’s supposed to but their claims of 250sqft are very exaggerated. It blows very cold, but I can’t seem to get it to cool my room by 5 degrees from 75 to 70. The only way it works for us is to point it directly at the bed while we’re sleeping to really even feel the difference. Wish I would have gone with a bigger unit that could actually do the job ... show more

    • A nightmare
What a nightmare this thing is. I installed it today and it is ridiculously loud. So incredibly obnoxiously loud. Also, it’s extremely hot. The entire back of this unit and the hose is generating so much heat it is competing and losing significantly to the cool air coming out the little vent in front. I think my little studio apartment is actually hotter using this. I’m sweating if I’m not directly in front of the fan. I feel like crying because it’s so heavy for me to try to return this. To try to put it all back in the box. Plus the heat is so bad I’m afraid for me and my kitty’s health. I don’t know if it’s worse to use this thing or brave another few days without an AC. I can’t believe they sold me this. Was so much needing an AC in my new apartment I just moved in to 2 months ago. I don’t know what to do. I’m in a new home and I don’t know anyone to help me. This can’t be right or normal or safe to have this much heat being generated from the back of this AC and from the hose. Yes everything is installed perfectly and the hose without bending going out the window. No blockages. And hose is all sealed up. I even used the flimsy horribly knotted insulation strings that was packed with it. Sounds like I’m standing in front of an airplane. So sad. Update: ran out of ‘cool’ air (the air that came out never was cold) after about 2-3 weeks of use on temp 69-72f. ... show more

    • Great AC unit
Very good portable AC unit that runs off electricity. Ots is a little noiser when on the high setting but the noise level isn't that loud. Works great keeping a room cooled and I like the all white and the easy to use remote that came with it.
