I have 3 portable AC units. All stand alone type with exhaust hose. This one is used in the master bedroom where my elderly parents sleep and watch tv in the early evening. The room is very comfortable. The remote works great and simple. The unit is most likely the quietest of the 3. Using these types of portables has considerably lowered the electric bill since the main central air conditioning hardly runs unless things really heat up. A very positive feature is the exhaust hose. It is larger in diameter than all others Iโve seen. This probably adds to the efficiency we experience (getting rid of condenser heat more efficiently is important). This one dehumidifies better than the other 2. The cold air exhaust is noticeably crisper-cool more so than the others, which is most likely the reason for better dehumidifying. All purchases were through Amazon and delivered quickly. If I had it to do over again; Iโd have purchase 3 of this brand and been happier. Easy install.

The build quality of the unit is very high and cosmetically will look very nice in anyoneโs home. The unit kicks out very cold air and is very powerful. The controls on the unit are very easy to understand and the same goes for the remote. You will hear a beep anytime input is received from either the control panel on the unit or from the remote which is extremely helpful. The noise level of the Unit is exactly what you would expect from a powerful AC unit. I had to contact Euhomy for a small issue and this is where this company shines. They always replyed to my emails within 24 hours even during the Chinese holiday of the dragon boat festival! I would not hesitate to do business with this company in the future because they stand behind there product. Thanks Narah from Euhomy for making my buying experience so wonderful!

So far so good! Quite, powerful. Fan and actual cooling function are strong. Keeps whole downstairs cool on 90 degree day without trouble. Now, I am in Colorado with an average humidity between 17-30% ...I have little use for the dehumidify function. Remote is wonky, and doesn't seem to fully work with machine. (R2 is that you?) At this point it could be user error and I have not had time to fully trouble shoot. And I didn't really care about the remote anyway...I got like 6 on my desk as it is....

I have been using an in-window 18,000 BTU unit as I have a large, open Living room which opens to my dining room and Kitchen and then a small hallway to the kids rooms. I estimate it to be about 800 square feet. The in-window was VERY heavy and awkward to lug up from the basement and install and barely fit through the basement door. I bought this unit hoping it would be able to handle the rooms and it did AMAZING! Not only that, this thing is SO darn quiet! My wife commented that this is quieter than the old window unit. It worked great and where we have it, all i did was remove the hose and window connector and that is like 3 lbs and we leave the unit in our living room behind our couch until next summer. This was such a great experience using this and not having to lug this heavy unit up and down the stairs I plan on buying smaller portable units for the kids rooms! I honestly do not have a single CON on this unit. When I took my daughters window AC out there were spiders and spider webs and all kid of junk to deal with, plus moths and such would make their way into the house. With this unit, I did not even have to remove the screen from the window so, no bugs in the house.

I bought my first 4000 btu last summer for $399, and I really liked it. It did an excellent job to cool my high ceiling 12 x 20 bedroom. The noise is less than the 10000 btu at Costco. No issue with water drainage. Installation and maintenance is super easy. Also high quality and construction. 5 Stars. That's why I buy again just last week for $469 for another bedroom. I then find out that they are really thirsty for Amp. Each will draw 11.9 A at high fan setting. Unfortunately for the way my home was built, both bedrooms are drawing electricity on the same 15A circuit breaker. So when I have both units running at the same time, the 15A circuit breaker will be stripped. Right now I can get around by replacing 15A with 20A circuit breaker, and running both units at low fan speed. I am considering returning the 2nd unit, and in contact with Euhomy Customer Service. They are quite helpful. In conclusion: You won't be disappointed to get one. This 14000 btu is better, but less expensive, less noise than the weaker unit currently on sale at Costco. Buy more than one, you better check your home's circuit before buying.

I bought this thing in 2021 after the massive heat dome that passed over the pacific northwest. I discovered that my central air unit doesn't actually blow cold air and was wasting 3-4 kilowatt hours failing to do so. Instead of spending thousands getting it replaced, I decided to go for this; because I really only need the AC in one room. It only draws around 1.25 kw hours of electricity and focuses on cooling one room. I've placed mine in my living room directly behind my armchair and computer screen where I work and placed a fan on top to direct the air right at me. The output hose fits nicely in between the open window and the sill. It works beautifully. The rest of the house gets up to 80 degrees but its always less than 60 around my chair. Sometimes I even I need a blanket :) This is the best approach for someone eco-conscious, it's cheaper and uses less power than central air and takes no time at all to cool you down.

We didn't even plug-in this unit. Upon opening the package the instruction booklet said wait 24 hours before attempting to use the air-conditioner. As we read we saw that this unit has several fire hazard warnings. One is that the unit cannot be in direct sunlight. Since we need it for the SUNROOM, we had to return it. Those warnings should be along with the online description.
