The light strip is bright and can be attached to most surfaces. The strip also has a control panel that can adjust the setting of the lights. On the other hand, the double sided adhesive squares did not successfully affix the light strip on to my mirror. It would hold for a little while then it would just come down, not sure if it had something to do with the heat coming off the lights. The light strip looks wonderful on it. So, this light strip is great, overall. I love the look of it, it's like a modern rope light, and it is super long. 16.4ft is quite a bit lol it was too long for what I initially wanted it for, so I used it for my son's bed instead. I put it around the edges of his headboard and strung it down the middle under his bed. So his bed now lights up all around the headboard and underneath and he loves it. My only complaint is that the adhesives didn't work that well. The adhesives came off of the bedframe (which is metal) the very next day. I stuck them back down and pushed extra hard but again, they came off. So I got fed up and just secured them with tape. But it still looks awesome! ... show more

The adhesives provided did not hold up ever overnight. I even wiped the surface down with alcohol and let it dry first to remove any oil. Disappointed in that

So the first thing I notice once I plug the light strip in: it hurts my eyes! Within a few seconds my eyes started getting irritated by the light, and one of the selling points is that it's gentle on the eyes! The dimmer definitely saves this. Even at a low setting, the light strip is still bright enough to light up my whole room. it's not very harsh and flattering for photos. the provided adhesive isn't amazing but it's been holding up more or less. the strip keeps detaching on the bottom of the mirror sadly. ... show more
