This lock was easy to install and set up with our Google Home. It works well. It locks automatically after 30 seconds. It unlocks and opens easily with our fingerprints, so we never need to enter the numeric code. The batteries have lasted for well over 6 months and they're still going strong. That's one fewer key I need to carry. I can also ask my Google Home devices if my door is locked, so I don't need to go to the door to check. UPDATE: I installed this lock in September 2024. It's now August 2025 and I just received my first "low battery" notification. The original 8 Anker AA batteries that came with the lock lasted for almost a whole year of regular use in our front door. I replaced them today with 8 Amazon basics AA batteries. Replacing the batteries was super easy. No tools were required. The lock is still working great. It locks and unlocks with our fingerprints quickly nearly every time. It's so easy to use our fingerprints that we never use our code.

Great price for a solid well designed product. I looked at a number of locks like this one, but none matched the features, price and quality I wanted. This is my first Eufy product and so far so good. High quality and a pretty easy install and setup. Make sure this will fit properly in your door. See the measurements provided by the company. The app is really pretty easy to use and I love the auto locking feature and the ability to temporarily assign a code to the person that takes care of our cats while we are away. It keeps a log of all the ins and outs and it also had alerts that let you know if the lock is being used. I need to take the time to fix the weather stripping our door so it closes completely, because sometimes the lock can't lock because the door is not fully closed. That is the fault of the door, not the lock and the cool thing is that the app tells me when it tries to automatically lock and failed. The only negative I have seen is that on a rare occassion, the lock seems to glitch when I go to lock it when leaving the house. I just wait a beat and then put my thumb on it again and it works great. The lock looks great and seems to be well built. We use it with Alexa as well and it was easy to integrate into the Alexa app. Fingerprint recognition is the same as what you do on the phone and it has never failed for any of us. We no longer have to worry about making keys or losing them, but it does come with a key in case there is an electical issue of some kind. I am really happy with this purchase from a price to quality and features perspective and highly recommend it.

I have had this lock since December of last year. Currently in July, it is still working without having changed batteries or having any problems at any point during its time on my door. It is made out of metal which makes it feel durable and well made, and the finger print sensor works well as long as your finger isn’t wet. The phone integration is incredibly useful, as I can ensure my door is locked from anywhere and make schedules for ease of mind. It was also no more difficult to set up than a normal lock and gave no problems connecting to my phone. It is also extremely nice to have the ability to use a key in the event that the technology stops working. The only problems I have with this product are the fact that it gets very hot if the sun is hitting it (although this doesn’t impact its performance) and the touch screen has no physical impressions of the numbers so you need to see them to hit them correctly. Overall, this product is a great value and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheaper smart lock.

Love this lock For most homes you will just need to replace your old lock and install this one. But For my folks who are DIYers this a very simple lock to install but took BTS(blood, tears, and sweat) and two hours to install successfully. I am not a very handy person so I had to go to homedepot to grab about $89 worth of tools like a door jig and a door mortise which I did not already have. Thankfully I had a drill and drill belts which you will need if you want to DIY it. For someone who just wanted an extra lock on my bedroom door this lock is perfect. I keep this lock indoors away from weather elements and it works wonderfully! As for the wifi remote switch— it works, but I prefer the number pad and physical key. The finger print does work, but does take a while if it does not recognize your finger. Love that it lets me know when the door is open and when it closes, other than the fingerprints not working (when does it ever work) I highly recommend this lock for bed rooms or preexisting locks on doors
