  • Excellent Mopping Robot
I really like this robot and bought it for its mopping capabilities. The idea of having a clean and dirty water tanks in the robot itself is a great idea. The roller continuously cleans itself while mopping. It eventually ends up at the home base to suck the dirty water into the base unit and fill the robot with clean water again. It is a great mopping robot except that I have a small issue of seeing some water drops in some places. I contacted Eufy and they are addressing the issue. In conclusion I would like to summarize my 2 day usage of 100% tiled home: - Excellent mopping using roller - Very quiet even at performance vacuum mode - Leaves some droplets while mopping. This is being addressed and once fixed will get a 5 star rating) - Somewhat poor vacumming performance on tiled floor. It leaves some small particles around. - Unable to vacuum or mop along the sides. - Mapping mechanism somewhat buggy for an open floor layout (Kitchen, living room, dining room and long hallway were considered as one room but that was easily fixed with the editor. I am sure the software will improve in time. If you are looking for a good mopping robot this is the one to buy. I have not tried it on carpets since I do not have any. July 24 Update: ------------------ Eufy addressed the droplets issue and now the product works pefect for mopping. There has also been a couple of firmware updates improving mapping algorithms which shows Eufy's commitment for supporting the product. Customer support has also been top quality with super fast responses and actions. As previously mentioned I cannot comment on carpet performance since I do not have any but if you are looking for a mopping solution this is the product to get. ... show more

  • It’s a “NO” for me
Not worth it. If your floors are already clean then it’s fine but it’s not good for anything that requires effort.. spilt spaghetti sauce on the floor while cooking and declined getting it up because I knew I would run the machine tonight.. whelp it didn’t get any of it .. anything that spills and drys on the floor will not come clean with this machine.. If you have a large furnished home it struggles to go around obstacles without missing spots on the floor. It’s best to remap every time you change layouts or add and remove furniture. I had one of the systems that would leak dirty water back onto the floor. I contacted customer service and was sent a replacement within 2 weeks.. the replacement did fix the issue . I have carpet avoidance activated in the app but it still keeps going onto my shag rug and getting stuck It’s not very loud.. would I recommend this, nope.. Vacuum works great.. the mop is what needs the improvements ... show more

  • I am so happy with this purchase - it pays for itself I am so happy with this purchase - it pays for itself
No paid/incentivized review here!! Just honest enthusiasm at getting a good product at a fair price!!! I am thrilled that this mop/vac works as advertised! I couldn’t be happier with the results. It is so easy to program and maintain compared to other robovacs I have owned. The unit is very quiet when operating and self-cleaning compared to other units I have used. It works amazingly well at vacuuming and hasn’t gotten stuck/lost/tangled once in a full month of use. It is capable of picking up large crumbs etc. it transitions seamlessly between our large number of different flooring types without ever wetting a carpet. We don’t have dogs/cats but rabbits that shed a ton and it handles their fur well as well as spilled food and sand/dirt. You can specify no-go zones, floor types, and it even has a remote controller!!!!!! I love this feature but it was a bit buried in the App so I wanted to point this out. The best feature is the self cleaning - truly impressive. It is very easy to empty dirty water and refill. It takes about 2 hours to clean our 1500-2000sf floorplan during which time it returns to the dock regularly for water changes and emptying but I don’t think it ever has to recharge. The AI seems pretty advanced and the mapping is incredibly detailed after just one run (see photo). At first I was disappointed that you are forced to use Eufy bags and cleaning solution, but both the bags and cleaning solution last for such a long time that it’s really not a big deal. One other possibly drawback would be that it has a bit of a high clearance so it can’t fit under some of our furniture, but this is a very mild complaint. My house has never been cleaner!!!! ... show more

  • This is a really good product!
So I just got my Omni E 25 today and I cannot be more impressed than I am right now! When I hit the buy it now button a couple days ago, I was admittedly skeptical because of the cost and I have had mediocre experiences with this type of product in the past. This cool little robot has changed my mind about this type of product! Not only does it do a good and thorough job of cleaning. It tells itself when it’s full and goes back and empties itself. I have two labradors so that was the first hurdle for it to get over and it passed with flying colors! I intentionally didn’t sweep or mop my house after I ordered it just to see how it would perform. First I let it do the vacuuming. it was so thorough that even my husband came in and said.”Wow! That thing is cool!” I think that it emptied the dust and debris three or four times during the process. After I dusted, I sent it to do some mopping and I was equally impressed! We live in Georgia and just built a new house so we have red clay that gets tracked in occasionally and you could never tell it when the eufy was finished! And added plus for me is that the app for operating it is super simple to use. I like that I can tell it to do the whole house or just a room as needed. So far, I can’t really say anything negative about it because it is just that impressive! If you have pets in a busy schedule, it is definitely worth the purchase. ... show more

  • Great mopper, decent vacuum
Updated review. All and all ita still far superior to the narwal freo and roomba vacuum I had previously. As it was significantly cheaper than those robots when I bought them, Im still thoroughly happy with the purchase. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've had Roomba vacuums for over a decade and after my last interaction with their customer service I decided it was time to move on. I chose this robot based on reviews and the spinning mop head. We have 90% tile in my house with a little bit of carpeting, 2 very sheddy dogs, and 2 teenage boys. The pros: -Mapped in like 5 minutes. -Avoids obstacles decently. Smaller obstacles not so much. Sucked up a piece of hanger. - Vacuum seems to do a decent job. -Corner brush is awesome. Extends the brush when it senses a corner. - The mop. The mop is great. The water we pour out of the dirty tank is black. Im curious to see how it lightens up with daily mopping. Tanks seem to last about 3 mop cycles at medium water and deep cleaning -The app has a TON of different customizations and schedules. I've got vacuum and mop setup for the morning and then a vacuum only for the evening. You can have lots of different schedules and times for different days. Huge upgrade from the irobot app. -It automatically divided my house up into rooms. And it was very easy to send it to run an extra mop in the kitchen. -Quiet Mode. We run this in the evening and it is pretty quiet. -My dogs dont hate this as much as our Roombas and Freo Mop The cons: -The brushes turn whisps of dog hair into big clumps of hair, which then tangle in the center of the brushes. It does seem to struggle emptying the bin with those large clumps. Our roomba had pooped out recently so there was a LOT of hair. Im curious to see how it does after running twice daily for a few weeks. - Doesn't always stop or alert when there is something caught in the brushes. It sucked up an Allen wrench and just scraped it around on the floor. Luckily we have tile so it didnt do any damage, but a wood flooring it might have. -It announces everything its doing/about to do. "Cleaning mop brushes. Collecting dust" etc etc. Would be nice to turn off the vocal cues. -if there is an issue, there doesn't seem to be a push notification on the phone. At least not that I can find. - found it. -Brush streaks. They aren't terrible but are there. Better than the Freo mop. - Water sensors are based off of taking the water tank off the base and not based on actual water. If you remove the tank it will read as full when you put it back regardless of how.much water is in there. -The navigation piece sits up high. This robot can't clean under my sofas where all other roombas could. -Accessories seem pricey. The app has an accessories tab that has a countdown for each part. I dont know if thats the life of the accessory or when it requires maintenence. But some of them are only 30 hours. -The obstacle avoidance....is interesting. Sometimes it avoids things, other times ot does not. It's avoided an ethernet cable every day since we got it. This morning, it sucked it right up. It's navigated the entertainment center in our game room just fine...yesterday it tried to climb up one of the shelves and got stuck. Got stuck on our toilet base. Its still better than Roombas navigation and does get closer to obstacles than roomba did but same days it feels like it "forgets" permanent objects. It has errored out for the piece of hanger, a piece of paper, hair clumps in the center of the brushes (about 3 times) and it had some trouble filling the topper once which resulted in water spilling. The mopper was pretty filthy so after cleaning it seemed to fix the issue. All in all, I feel like it was a good purchase. Will update later if things change. ... show more

  • Unreliable/ customer service not great.
I have used this vacuum daily for about 7 months. It has been replaced under warranty once already. That time was a problem with he vacuum not recognizing its home dock. Company did send a new one promptly. 4 months later the vacuum can no longer dock at home by itself. It drives itself off cliffs. And runs into everything. I'm assuming the onboard camera isn't functioning. The company is very slow to respond. Sending one email per day with a troubleshooting tip. That's right, one tip per email per day. I cannot reach customer service when I try to call. The vacuum/ mop does work when it works, the app is very nice and easy to navigate. I'm disappointed as I do like this vacuum much better then the Roomba's I've had prior. Obviously the robot has internal hardware/software problems, and the customer service isn't great. ... show more

  • Very impressed with this vacuum
I have been very impressed with the vacuum I've had for just over a week and have not encountered a single issue. It's not got stuck at all and has managed to transition between my carpets, rugs, and hardwood floors without any problems. I have two cats and a dog, and most of my house has hardwood floors. I generally vacuum multiple times a week, and even with that routine, I still notice grey hairballs swirling around on the floor after a day or two. I've been running the Eufy daily for the past week, and it's excellently keeping up with all the pet hair. I haven't needed to vacuum manually yet. I'm particularly impressed with the mapping feature and the speed at which it vacuums and mops. It managed to map my entire house almost perfectly. I had to adjust one of the bedrooms as it only mapped about 1/2 of it on the initial run. When changing the room, the software was slightly confusing, but I figured it out. Regarding cleaning, it's not perfect, and sometimes spots are missed in corners or along walls and objects; it hits the 80-90% mark and will still save me a lot of time. The mopping feature works excellently as well. I purposely spilled a few things on the floor to test how well it worked and even let some spots dry; it did an excellent job of mopping them up. Since it moves in lines on the central part of the floor, I can see mop lines when it dries and the sunlight hits it, especially on my dark floors. However, I don't notice it at all on my light floors. I still plan on mopping and vacuuming, but I'll have to do it much less often with this vacuum. I've owned several other models of automatic vacuums (non-Eufy), but my last one often got stuck on obstacles constantly, and I would have to hunt to find it. Sometimes, it would even die before returning to the charging base. I also frequently forgot to empty the bin, preventing it from running consistently, and eventually, I just gave up on it. That shouldn't be the case with this one, as it handles much of the maintenance on its own. I'd recommend trying this one if you are looking for an automated solution. ... show more

  • High-End Price, low to mid-Range Reliability - Disappointing Experience High-End Price, low to mid-Range Reliability - Disappointing Experience
Rating: 1/5 Stars After extensive research comparing robovacs, I chose the Eufy25 Omni over Roborock and Roomba based on positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating for an $800 investment. Quality Control Issues: - Original unit arrived defective (failed to detect water in clean tank) - Replacement unit developed new problems within 2 days of use Primary Concern - Water Management: The most significant issue is that the robot leaves a trail of dirty water droplets throughout cleaned areas. Ironically, I now have to clean up after my cleaning robot, defeating the primary purpose of automation.this is a known issue to Eufy but I don’t understand why they do not issue a recall? I reached out to their customer service and they wanted me to send photos and videos of the issue, proof of purchase and serial number which I did. I told them that I had already uploaded this information on their app, but they have no record. Now they say they will ship the defective dirty water reservoir replacement in 2-4 weeks. Which means I may get it in 4-6 weeks. Really? See photos and video of my kitchen floor. Positives: The actual cleaning performance is excellent when functioning properly. Areas for Improvement: - App interface needs better user experience design - Quality control standards should match the premium pricing - Better water management system required Bottom Line: For $800, I expected reliability that matches the price point. While the cleaning capability is solid, the water management flaws and quality control issues make this difficult to recommend until these fundamental problems are addressed. Would I buy again? Not at this price point with these reliability concerns. I hope this unit lasts beyond its warranty. I am returning this unit AGAIN, and considering buying Ecovacs X9 Omni. ... show more
