Excellent fit and finish, nothing to dislike. Locks prevent the plastic caps from coming adrift and getting lost. Locking washers to prevent bars from loosening over time. Easy to fit and very well made. Installation took me about 20 minutes. Parts are labeled to show where on the vehicle they should be fitted (LHF, RHR etc). Longest rail of the pair fits at the front.     • As expected
It fits our 2022 highlander hybrid. Install only took a few minutes, pretty straight forward without a the manual since each mount is labeled for front/rear/left/right. The machining and cutting left a lot of leftover debris within the bars but it's no big deal since it didn't affect the install. The mount covers can be attached to a plastic tether on the mount incase it ever pops off so you won't lose it as easily. It looks like the OEM crossbar on the road and you can probably only tell it's aftermarket if you know what you're looking for up close. This was mainly for cosmetic use but I would trust mounting a fair amount of stuff with this ... show more

I ordered the crossbars and they shipped earlier than expected. The product is decent but the instructions were awful. We had to You tube it and couldn't find one exactly like ours but finally figured it out. They were fairly easy to install once we started to mount them but did have to use our own tools. The ones provided weren't great. The strings to mount the covers were weak so we zip tied the covers on to ensure they didn't blow off while driving. These bars are about 25% of what the Toyota dealership was going to charge me. I was please with everything but the directions. I am moderately handy and can figure things out. There are some videos posted by others so I suggest viewing them prior to installation. It would also be easier with two people vice and I recommend either caulking or using silicone to there the decorative caps down. I am not confident the plastic tethers would hold over time. ... show more

    • Bars are satisfactory but the clip on covers do not fit correctly
The screws don’t line up perfectly causing one to strip out, we had to go to the hardware store to purchase a replacement screw. The covers do not snap on correctly so we ended up putting strapping tape on to secure them

Good quality , easy to install with right markings for each component and above all great customer service. After around 7 months, one of the cap came out during car wash. I contacted seller through website and got the replacement without any additional charge.

Do not waste your money on this. I just purchased these for my 2020 Highlander and they are complete garbage. The instructions are horrible, they dont even tell you how to install the cross bars- not that it was hard, its just the point. Thats not the worse part....The cheap plastic covers on each bracket that covers the bolts are the cheapest things ever made. They do not securely attach to the bracket, I wouldnt even trust driving down my driveway without them blowing off...I guess thats why they give you a zip tie to hold them on for when they blow off, two of which were already broke when I got them. ... show more

The rails seem sturdy, however like others have mentioned the caps/covers that snap into place do not fit properly and will come off while driving. (Lowered review score because there is no ability to request replacement parts that will undoubtedly come off because of poor design).
