The directions are very straightforward and it is easy to follow the initial set up and cleaning process. Though there are many parts, they fit together intuitively, and the instructions are clear. The machine is a good size and does not take up much counter space. After going through the set up and cleaning process, I made all types of beverages, expresso, cappuccino and latte. The machine will make steamed and frothed milk and it works very well. Just remember to put the frothing tube inside of the cup. The pre-sets allow you to make a single or double of each type of drink. It would be helpful if the milk reservoir had markings on it to let you know how far to fill it up if you just wanted a single or double cappuccino for yourself. I found myself overfilling it for a single serving, and if you don’t plan on making another one for a while, the milk remaining is wasted. The drinks were hot and delicious, the parts were solid and the machine is well put together and easy to use. While there are other super complicated and expensive machines on the market, overall I’d recommend this for a simple daily cup. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and makes a great cup of coffee.

Assembly/dissaembly is easy. Instructions are clear. I had a little bit of trouble making espresso, as the coffee was not coming out. I tried everything, even contacting the manufacturer. It was that the portable coffee filter (where you put the coffee grounds, was not locked all the way. It looked like it was, but it was a millimeter off. That prevented the coffee from working. After I tightened it more, it worked perfectly. It comes with all the accessories you need. 2 filters (2 shots or 1 shot) for the espresso and the spoon/stamper. It has a clean function for the milk frother, which is great, so it won't clog. As per the functionality, it has espresso, capuchino and latte functions, in single or double. You have to turn the machine on, and wait until the lights are all solid (less than a minute), and then choose your function. Very simple to work with. The milk reservoir is a bit tight to put in and remove. I assume it will come easier with time, same for the tightening of the coffee filter wand. It is very tight, especially since you must put it exactly in the lock position for it to work. Other than that, very happy with this machine. Will be using it daily.

The #Ilavie Espresso machine is a full featured coffee machine in a small package. This espresso machine can brew a cup of espresso with a push of a button. Install the one or two cup filter in the portafilter, add coffee and tamp. Install the portafilter and push the espresso (1 or 2 cup) button. You can also make a cappuccino or a latte easily. There's a built-in milk frother (which I have not used) and the same wand is used to steam milk. I haven't tried to steam milk either. The 20 bar pump pushing hot water through with ease and the hig wattage ensures your coffee is at the right temperature, each time. It can handle brewing several cups in a row. This machine comes with the two filter sizes, a tamping tool and a brush to clean the milk frother. I knocked off one star because if you're not careful, coffee grounds can end up in the water spout area and make clean-up difficult. Otherwise, I love this machine and the espresso it produces.

It's got all the features you'd want, says 6-in-1, but I'd really say more like 3-in-1 since it's single shot or double shot of each type, espresso, cappuccino, or latte, but still, that's pretty much all you need. It has a nice removeable milk reservoir that you can pop off and into the fridge. As someone else mentioned too, make sure you lock the filter all the way in place or it won't work right. It's small enough to not take up the entire counter unlike similar items, and nice enough that you won't mind leaving on the counter. Easy to clean and easy to use. Definitely recommend.

This espresso machine is very easy to use. It also produces great tasting expresso. It is attractive and looks great on my counter, too. The only down side is that is is noisier than most expresso machines.

Everything you need to make a great espresso, cappuccino or latte (except for the coffee and the milk of course) ! It comes with filter cups for single or double shots and a coffee tamper, as well as cleaning brushes. Also extra plastic seals for the water and milk reservoirs. Nice heavy metal and plastic body, and portafilter. It comes with detailed instructions for use which are very helpful. The best part is that it’s not huge. Its compact design makes it easy to fit it in a small space (unlike other machines out there). It does not come with a coffee grinder, so you will need one if using whole beans coffee, which is recommended.

This is a large multi-featured espresso machine that is really designed to produce handcrafted milk based espresso drinks such as cappuccinos and lattes. It includes a milk reservoir and is set up to automatically froth milk to accompany the espresso shots that you make on the machine. This is a terrific machine for making a morning cappuccino, but it has so many functions that it's sort of large, so you need quite a bit of counter space for it. You also need to follow certain procedures for keeping the milk frothing mechanism clear between each days cappuccino sessions, to make sure that milk doesn't dry in the tubes that bring the froth milk over to the espresso shot to create the cappuccino. A very cleverly designed machine, perfect for quickly creating a rapid succession of cappuccinos with a push of a button as an ideal accompaniment for dessert at a dinner party.

Very sturdy and easy to use. My favorite thing is how fast it brews the espresso. Great for daily use. Easy to clean with detachable parts. Made to last in my opinion. Would also make a great gift for any coffee lover. Great Great value and quality for the money.
